    HEY bounce
I just found my first butterfly!! cheers
I searched the Bathroom with NO charms or turtles running! I only searched it once to update my wall items. After completing the room my only prize found was one Roisterer Butterfly.
Does anyone know where or how else to find a Butterfly?

Just found my first one too, about 2 days ago. Don't even remember what I was doing when I got it. So I'm no help, sorry. But I know we'll figure it out eventually. cheers

I got a butterfly by searching the japanese garden with the UFO curse with no charms running, I've been unable to replicate this though.

I've read one person got a butterfly with a mist in the bathroom and another via a golden chest which gives 9 collection items.

All in all I've searched 1000+ rooms since the new artifact collection has popped up and not got any more butterflies.

Some of my ipad friends which have gotten butterflies have received them as gifts from players on other platforms so my guess is that iPad users need to wait for a butterfly quest to come round.

I agree with Zin. Wait for a butterfly quest. Good plan.

I had surplus energy to use so I searched living room and bathroom without any charms running and got a butterfly as my only drop too. Still need the Peacock eye to find out what the random effect is, although it may be different each time if truly random Very Happy

I found a swallowtail in the kitchen at night with no charms.
Interesting that several people are saying they have no charms running
    when they find theirs.

    Found a second butterfly!

    Post  bkosher2 on Tue Apr 23, 2013 12:32 pm

I just found my second butterfly using the same method, searching a room with NO charms running. I searched the Bedroom with no charms and found only 1 item, the Ulysses Sailboat Butterfly. Definitely a pattern here. tongue

I found the Ulysses Sailboat butterfly in the dressing room, no charms running except an elephant of wisdom. So I have 2 of those butterflies, but none of the others.

I found the blue butterfly in the kitchen. Like above nothing else running and it was the only thing found. Tried repeating the process and not much luck..

Still haven't found the peacock eye. Searched each room now with no charms! Anyone found it yet, so I know which room to concentrate on?

I found a peacock in the Africa room...but I have compared notes with others and haven't found any patterns...it appears to be totally random.

So I have them all but what's the random affect? Has anyone charged them yet? Just wonder what you may get for a measly 15 min.

I charged one. It was 5% more coins from exploring rooms for 15 minutes. I was expecting something much better.

I charged the butterfly collection and got a ulysees butterfly on my manor side bar that gave 5% more strength for 15 min. Seems it depends upon which random butterfly appears after charging collection that determines what effect you get.

Butterflies will not drop if you have any charm running or at most if you have a drop rate increase charm. Now that I know it's only a 5% increase I won't be bothering!
