Yes, charm works fine, but you can't see when it runs out unless you try and use a charm of the same type, then it tells you how long is left.
If you are using a copper phoenix and then try and use a golden phoenix then it will say when the copper phoenix runs out.

Another tip: At the moment you bring in a helper (most of the time) the time is showing per charm.

Or you can just click on the charm you have running and it shows the time. That has worked for me.
