How to register for mmuff Empty How to register for mmuff

Post  MMaddict Thu Jun 14, 2012 1:39 pm

This is a goofy question, since I have obviously registered, and therefore must know how to do it, but....

I have had at least two friends go to mmuff.com and not see any way to register. I remember when I first came here I saw a much simpler looking site - no banner, etc., and I think that may be what is happening to them as well. It's as if the outer frame is missing and only the forum part shows up. At some point I did "something" that made the entire site load and I don't remember what that "something" was. Now I always see the page including the banner and the gray ribbon with links, so I can't go back and look to see what I might have done. Does anyone know how to direct these friends and others so they can register for mmuff if they are not currently seeing the register link?

    Thanks!

It has been a few months but I remember that happening to me as well. If I remember correctly (no promises;) at the bottom of the screen you can change the view to classic mode and that will give you the regular site.

Sara is correct. If you are viewing the site from an iOS device, it will default to the 'mobile' version of the site. There is a link to 'Classic Version' on the bottom.

The mobile version exists so that we don't go blind reading super tiny text. Very Happy
(Personally, I don't use the mobile version of this site on my iPhone either. I use the Classic version)

On the ipad in safari i don't get the squashed site, I do on my iphone. Either one works for the full site with the register link, both go to the full site.
