    Brand New Update

    Has anyone updated their game with the newest update? Now that I have, my game crashes every time I try to visit a friend. It is so frustrating. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Since the new update my game doesn't crash when visiting friends, it just takes a long time to get there - I would say approx 30 seconds and very frustrating. The game occasionally kicks me out and sometimes when I'm in a room so of course I lose the experience and energy spent.

    New updates always cause issues for a few days. Things should return to normal somewhat after the weekend.

    Always close all apps and restart your iPad if you have any issues playing. It fixes many problems.

    Ok thanks. And i tried the restart and closing apps, but it didn't work. I will see if this is fixed in a few days.

    I'm having the same problem, used to crash when I tried to connect to higher level players, over level 50, but now I can't get to anyone. I've restarted and it's still the same :-(

    I've tried to visit friends for 2 days now since the update. I get kicked out every time. I have rebooted the game and my iPad to no avail. Help!!!

    Same here - prior to this update, I never had any issues with the App crashing. Now, I have a few. Not a big deal, I can hop right back in.

    Since the update when I tip or help my red meter does not move. I lose the strength but I don't get the credit for using it. Is anyone else having this problem?

    Mine is working fine, but since the update, many players are having different things happening to others.

    Have you reached level 51 in reputation? That's the highest level you can reach, so your red bar stays filled and the numbers won't go up any higher. If not, then it sounds like you've found a bug!

    Now it seems since Sunday, when friends visit me the only opened rooms are Bedroom, Dressing Room, Livingroom, Bathroom & Kitchen. All of the others appear locked and I have all rooms opened. Is this happening with anyone else? Now I'm only able to get tips in those 5 rooms.

    That was happening to me even before the update. I visited two different manors and they only had 6 rooms open, but I knew they actually had them all open. It took awhile for it to change back to what they were before.

    I'm not sure if it's coincidence, but one of them I noticed had leveled up when I came back.

    I should have said iPad 2 players have less problems. I am using iPad 1. As of now, I still cannot visit most friends. When I replied messages on the wall, my game sometimes crashed. I have done all the "rebooting". I already have crash problems prior to the update but I still could visit friends after restarting the game. Now it is completely impossible. As this seems to be a common problem for some players, I am just waiting for the problems to be fixed by the developer.

    I, too, have noticed this. I think it's just a failure of the game to update the opened room list for a friend when you are visiting. If you return to the manor, it should be correct the second time around.

    I am using Ipad 1 and am having the same problem. Game crashes when I try to visit friends =( but then i realised I could visit friends that are level25 and under.

    Does anyone know if it's possible to log into the game on a different iPad? I have iPad 1, but my husband has ipad2. If I download the app on his device, can I still be me? Or do I have to start over? The crashing situation is really frustrating!

    I wrote to Tech Support on the crash problem when visiting friends and here is their reply:

    Thank you for your information and support provided!

    I have transferred your data to our specialists so they could have a closer look at your case and take necessary steps to eliminate the issue as soon as possible. Though it might require us some time to fix everything we shall do our best to implement appropriate changes in future updates. Please, stay tuned and keep an eye on news and game versions coming out.

    You cannot move accounts across iPads so easily. You would have to do a complete restore of your iPad data to your other iPad, wiping all data on that device.

    Yes, when they're responding to 20,000 inquiries (just estimating), they do use the same response to most of the questions.
