My whole manor is in the dark, and has been for weeks.

I am level 117 my friend code is 09c1c5. My whole manor is in the dark and has been for weeks, everyone comments about how much my manor is in the dark, its making me not want to play the game. Occasionaly very rarely a room goes light but only for one go. Does anyone know if this is normal or what i can do about it?

That's an interesting situation. I would say, to just keep searching all the dark rooms, and once they turn into daylight, just leave them alone. Then one day you'll be surprised that all the rooms in your manor are bright.

Here's how to efficiently handle the dark:

(1) Complete the collections that give flares as rewards.

• #57: Faces of Africa
  
• #61: Art of Origami
  
• #69: Ninja War Trophies
  
• #13: Mysterious Trophies
  

Put them on your wish list and charge them!

(2) Buy pointers - lots of them!

(3) Activate a Magic Magnet.

(4) Now go and search a dark room.

(5) Activate a flare and pointer at the same time. Drag your finger across the room at super speed and tap on anything that lights up.

Out of curiosity, how many dark rooms have you searched - under the Achievement for exploring rooms in Night mode?

And comparatively, how many rooms have you explored in Silhouette mode?

Thanks for your tips, i have explored 398 in the dark and 531 in silhouette, what level are you and how many have you done?

I'm level 127. According to my Achievements, I've explored 430 rooms in Night Mode, and 435 rooms in Silhouette. I guess the ratio of day to night is just about even for me.
