Just searched 20 friends and none showing up elsewhere ...

Yes I just noticed this as well. They were there earlier though! I saw a bunch on other people's manors but they are gone now. I restarted the game but no difference... Jeesh.

It depends on where in the quests they are.. I only have the snooty succubus and dominatrix in mine

Thats logical, as I have a single demon as I only banished 8/10 last time as I ran out of money!! And I will bet when I banish the last one, he will change.

But I can't still can't find a single friend with another monster, which is odd. If anyone has me added, pls stop by and see if you can see him and msg me on my wall

I'm thinking it's a way of limiting collections! And what if I don't get all the items!

Update: OK, my demon can be seen and I have found 2 others out of searching 50 friends! Panic over but still unusual.

I was on gemfinder's page earlier though and he had a ton of them. Now, none. Something is strange...

I had some and banished them and they didn't return, I'm back to having all robots again !!!

They're back in mine, but thats probably because I didn't get on very well with this the last time! I have banished a few phantoms and things, and they are coming back, but that could be because I have the quest strings for them?

I guess so, I finished all the quests last time, so am just trying to banish things for the achievements now

Well that's bizarre as I've not seen any at all on my page all day! Got loads of quests (demons, ancient skeletons and phantom guards) but can't find any monsters anywhere and I think I've trawled through virtually every friend today!

Think GI are having a laugh at our expense!

I just banished my final demon for the quest and he is still in my manor, even though I now have to find 10 werewolves and haven't got one of those. Oh well, back to hunting!

Awhile back there was a great thread on banishing roamers in your manor vs. your friend's manors. Here it is: http://www.mmuff.com/t265-bashing-flying-characters-banish-your-own-or-on-someone-else-s-manor?highlight=banish

Basically, if you banish your own roamers they are likely to disappear and not return. Go to a friend's manor and banish their roamers, especially if they have two or more. They should reappear for everyone to use.

If you have coveted roamers in your manor let your friends know. Then they will visit (and hopefully gift you, too!).

Please let MMUFF users know if you discover that this no longer holds true with the update. Use the thread above to post those comments, so we can keep it all together.

My monster events popped up, but my monster roamers didn't come back, probably because I had already completed the quests last time?

I had to banish several of my snatchins and gypsies just now, in order to make monsters pop up in my manor again.

I now have a Stone Gargoyle, Phantom and Mummy, plus 2 Dark Adepts and 2 Priestesses of Chaos ... however, they're at full strength. I'll need to weaken them down again so they can be useful to my friends.

hi Charlotte! Thanks for the greeting! Yup I was away on holiday for a few weeks, and back just in time for the new update. I'm way behind everyone else though, still building the new island! I've been quiet lately because I don't have much to contribute right now - I'm just reading everyone else's tips and trying to catch up!

EDIT: I now have a Skeleton, Demon, Werewolf, Headless Horseman, Pirate, Dominatrix, Stone Gargoyle, Phantom, Ancient Mummy and a regular Mummy, plus 2 Dark Adepts and 2 Priestesses of Chaos ... however, they're at full strength. I'll need to weaken them down again so they can be useful to my friends.

Also on main floating monsters thread but repeated here.

User MFS has a werewolf plus snatching seafarer and loads of aliens for those needing to banish tripods, destroyers and xenophages.

Don't know his friend code but he's posted near the top of my wall so my friends can find him.

Thanks for posting that link in this thread. I started it because as soon as I spotted the demon in my manor, I promptly went hunting through friends manors (I was running a turtle as I was gypsy trading anyway) and after 40 manors, didn't find a single monster! I too had read that thread and just wish I had found this site earlier before I dismissed certain roamers!

I've now gone through every single friend (158) and identified merely 10 people with random monsters! My friends range from 8-200 so I know for sure not all of them could possibly have got the Diplomas/finished quest threads. And lo! my turtle ran out!

Thanks again and I would gladly invite you to add me. This is a great site!

I've now got Homunculus; snooty succubus; stone gargoyle; pirate; Demon; Destroyer; octopus & destroyer floaters.

Had to murder a few gypsies and buy some oil cans but it has made my home page a little more exciting!

Hrmmm I'm not seeing any of those on your page Jeff. I think I'm starting to hate GI lol.

OK, I am going to rant here, so Admin might remove this post but it IS relevent.

After I started this thread, a few people became new valued friends with some floating monsters. After some mutual chat, took a break (a mere hour) and revisited and guess what? No monsters in their manors!

So after wasting my time and theirs, searching through endless friends who had some, now we revisit their manors and nothing!! Not one of us banished ourselves knowing other people may need them! And, in case someone got there beforehand, visit another and return and so forth..

I am now about to do an expletive (please look away if easily offended).

WTF is going on!!!! This is appalling. GI have stooped to another level here to frustrate us. If it wasn't for the good friends I have on here, I would ditch this game. Jeez, maybe we should all get together and make our own!

Previously I left my monsters weakened, and when I banish gypsy man in orange shirt, he just reappeared. Repeat x 4 to confirm. Thanks

Like gemfinder, I killed off the hapless gypsies and poor little snatchins that were in my manor, and all the aliens as well. It took several banishings (yep, oil cans for the robots too), and eventually, the monsters started showing up. But the multi-hit monsters that I had previously weakened, came back at full strength though, so I'll need to beat 'em down again blow by blow.

If anyone has a weakened Priestess of Chaos or Dark Adept, please add me?
I'll try and weaken my own ones as soon as I get some thingies for banishing them...
Unfortunately don't have any other creatures yet, although I've banished a ton of snatchins and gypsies trying to make room for them. bah.

And the bizarre thing is that through all of the trials and tribulations of Sharbee and DebbyM, my fleet of monsters has been happily floating around and I have no intention of killing them off. Quite bizarre. But for my part, I keep visiting The guy with the werewolf and snatching seafarer and happily banishing them without a problem.

If this carries on, I'll raise a ticket with GI as it is not on.

Perhaps though it is worth others doing as pianofingers and I have done. Banish the lower value floaters On your Manor and get yourself a menagerie of your own so that you can frustrate the hell out of your MUFF friends.
