HomeIs it possible to get friends without them turning into helpers? I would love to have more friends but I really don't need more helpers, I have enough.

Only your first dozen (roughly) friends will become helpers.
Had I known that, I would have chosen my first few friends more carefully.
The most helpers I've ever seen a player with was 16. Anyone seen more?

You were right, I have added more friends, but they didn't become helpers, which keeps my count of helpers at 11. I think any more than that and I wouldn't be able to enter any rooms in the Manor.

Yes, they do get in the way sometimes. I already have 15 helpers.

How do helpers get in the way of entering a room? Do you mean because of the hovering?
I too was unaware of how helpers came to be. I have some helpers who really aren't active players in the game. Any suggestions? What happens if I delete them as a friend?

Is it possible to increase the amount helpers can help? i.e. Some give you 15% increase while others are lower.

no its not possible to increase it actively, as the amount of help depends on the level of your helper. Out of my 15 helpers, I now have 7 that have not done the last two updates. Unfortunately 5 of those are 15% experience helpers!
I deleted one that was a banker and a low level of help a while back (they hadn't updated with the previous updates--nothing against bankers) and I immediately got one a new helper. This time, I deleted one and didn't get a new helper. Now I am hesitant to delete any more!
I need the experience helpers! (the next on the list would be experience as well)
What to do? what to do? Has anyone deleted a lot of helpers and not gotten them replaced?

I have deleted a lot of helpers over a longish period of time and they have always been replaced. Keep an eye on your rooms to see if one is locked in there.

Well, I just opened the UFO, so when I decide to delete, I guess I will look there first. :-). The last replacement helper just showed up and I didn't even have to rescue her. Will delete one more to test....

So far I have 7 friends who have not updated and 4 of them are helpers. If I was to delete them I would lose 2 scientists, 1 banker and 1 explorer, and would then gain 2 bankers, 1 scientist, and 1 explorer as that is what's next in line.

Good news deleted 3 and I got all three back! I have a couple more to go....tomorrow.:-)

Be careful deleting helpers everyone....mine still haven't been replaced. Only have 11...should have 15....

Evie, try exploring all the rooms, even the locked ones. Your new helpers are hiding there.

Something I also noted....in the beginning when new helpers were "locked" in a room, they were in a yellow rectangle or something like that. Now, they just look like a floating helper, but stuck beneath a tip (if room is tipped) and don't move away from the room. Or in my case, stuck under a phenom icon. If you use the trick to keep the phenom in a room by shutting down and opening back up MM, they are still stuck. You have to actually vanquish the phenom completely to release them.

But you know who your 12th helper is going to be, right? Check if that friend has updated. It's possible that you may have to delete that friend who is stuck, in order to give way to the other helpers. That's a last resort, though. Before doing that, try leveling up, or doing a hard reset on your iPad, maybe either one of those actions will refresh your manor.

Yep... and i was visiting friends today and noticed one only had 4 helpers.. she was at like level 86! So I think this is another issue... so careful with your helpers!
