Apple's lack of a response Empty Apple's lack of a response

Post  Admin Fri Aug 17, 2012 4:34 pm

Hi everyone. I emailed Apple almost a week ago to clarify their position on what Game Insight was claiming as the reason why Friend Codes were removed.

I received the usual 'We received your email, wait for a response' automated email.

Today, I received another automated email asking me to rate Apple's level of support regarding my recent inquiry.

Apparently, Apple never responded, and closed my ticket. Rolling Eyes

    I will email them again.

I contacted Apple's customer support, also.
I did get a personal response telling me to contact the developer's support staff....it was like they answered, but didn't actually read my e-mail!
    Very frustrating.

I just got one, hang on I'll post it

    Greetings Sarah,

Ingo here again. I hope this day is treating you well. I am sorry if the developer is not replying to you.

It looks like the developer is getting people to recruit other people before providing any kind of reward; like a pyramid to create a social network.

None-the-less, if things change within an App, even as a result of something occurring between the developer and Apple, then only the developer can release that information.

Al this point Sarah, since the developer is not answering your question, your recourse is to be provide feedback on the iTunes feedback page.

On your behalf Sarah, I have submitted your request to know why a feature is no longer present in an App, to the iTunes store.

If you would like to also voice your opinion, then I encourage you to also use the iTunes Feedback page to submit your comments about your concern. Apple recognizes that no one is better qualified to provide feedback about iTunes than the people who use it:

    http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

Thank you in advance, for taking the time to contact Apple about improving iTunes. Your efforts to share your feedback are very much appreciated and will be addressed. By taking the time to contact Apple about your concerns, you provide valuable input on how to make iTunes better for everyone. Your email may make the difference.

I hope that you continue to enjoy shopping on the iTunes Store, Sarah. If you have any further questions feel free to respond to this email and I will be more than happy to help. Have a great day!

    Sincerely,

    Ingo

Apple's lack of a response Empty GI diamonds against Apple rules?

Post  Sharbee Sat Aug 18, 2012 2:40 pm

Good on you Admin for trying to take this up with Apple directly. This is GI's Official stance on taking away friends codes etc. and not rewarding us with in-game currency aka Diamonds.

Right. So, why then did I just get a in-game notification offering me 10 diamonds if I join Facebook and another 10 if I join Twitter?

And, I am still getting 1 diamond when someone has added my friend code, but only 1 diamond, regardless if there are 5 people adding me and no matter what level they are. I used to get 1-5 diamonds per person, depending on level.

Just another GI rip-off and fake excuses. If it's against Apple Policy to give us diamonds without paying for them, how come they are still offering them as above?
