Cartographers astrolabe

I need some help please.

I'm on the quest where I need to charge the accurate route collection. It's the Silence of the Ghosts collection.

Anyway I don't have the cartographers astrolabe.

I've also run into problems because I have very few cannonballs left to get onto the pirate brig.

So to my questions:

Is the pirate brig the only place I can get this item?

Where can I get the gold doubloons to trade to get more cannonballs?

Any suggestions other than just buying cannonballs?

t has been my experience that the gold doubloons drop from the searched rooms.

Look for Blackbeard snatchin in your friend's manors. He will give you either 5 or 10 cannonballs.

I've worked out which of my friends currently have Blackbeard.

I am looking for this item too now....does anyone know what mastery level it drops from brig? Only item I still need in this collection if anyone has one to spare...will take forever if I need to get to expert level to find it!
