Thanksgiving quests

Here is the quest guide for the new thanksgiving update.


Quest String 1
---------------------
1. Charge the courageous colonists collection.
The items have a 10% drop rate and can be found in any room of the manor.
2. Search the Japanese garden in silhouette mode 3 times.
3. Collect 30 boards and 60 nails
These items have a 30% drop rate and drop two at a time, can be found in any room.
4. Collect 30 maize and 10 hoes.
These items have a 30% drop rate and are dropped by the snatchin Indian.
Peacock feathers, found in any manor room, are needed to banish the Indian.
5. Charge the war-like corncob collection.
The items have a 15% drop rate and can be found in any room of the manor in night mode.
6. Charge the delicious lunch collection.
The items have a 15% drop rate and can be found in any manor room with phenomena.

Quest String 2
--------------------
1. Collect the golden turkey charm
Banish the turkey roamer to receive an egg containing piece of the charm.
The eggs have a drop rate of 15%.
Corncobs, found in any manor room, is needed to banish the turkey.


Events
--------
1. Construct the golden turkey
Open golden eggs to find all the pieces. 15 of each of the 6 pieces.

2. Charge the three thanksgiving collection 10 times each.

Game is unplayable now because I can't charge any collection, but once GI fixed it, I'll be referring to this frequently thanks in advance

Whenever these start can someone post if the items stop dropping once the collections are charged...it'd be nice to know if we need to get duplicates first

Like most quests, these items only drop during the quest. So i would suggest gathering multiples if you plan on charging more than once.

Do the colonists continue to drop in rooms once you complete that quests? I men does it look like they will only drop until its charged, or for the full 9 days?

I charged the Courageous Colonists once and they stopped dropping from rooms! now the only chance for me to get more is random drops by the Turkeys.

Curse oh curse my curiosity (& stupidity) on wanting to know what a bleedin' Turkey reward was! it just restores 170 energy points
You'd think I would have learnt what this game was like by now, but I didn't realise the quest would complete after one charge!
On the upside, my trading with the Roamers now gives more of the Green Skinned ones, so I'll be looking to trade later!

Hope this warns people not to make the same mistake I did!

Using a turtle turkey and snatchin dropping 2 colonists at a time.

Reward chest for charging 10 of each is compass, golden phoenix, (don't know how many)and 2 turkeys. There was something else, but it was equally pathetic. Lol.

Once you complete the event, does corn and feathers still drop in the rooms? And are there still thanksgiving snatchins in your manor?

I completed the quest to charge each collection 10 times and I'm still getting feathers and corncobs.

And I still have Thanksgiving Snatchins.

Me too, but I'm still working on the Golden Turkey.


I had previously charged the delicious dinner for the Selene quest and it counted towards the 10 btw so may count the other way around.

I'm doing okay with finding the eggs but I'm having a hard time getting the seeds of maize to drop. Any suggestions?

Has anyone noticed that charging the Delicious Dinner collection gets you a new kind of turtle? Here I thought the Thankgiving event was going to let us all replenish our Turtles of Luck. Well, no such Luck--pun intended. The Golden Turtle of Wisdom increases experience for 90 minutes. Oh, GI, when will you stop playing games with us--again, pun intended.
