Can someone tell me what determines the type of mystery gifts you can send? I sometimes get gifts that are not in my inventory of gifts. I was just curious.

When you send a gift to someone & they click "take" & then "thank" on that gift in their gift inventory, a mystery gift (from the "thank you") is sent ack to you. The game randomly chooses the gift, so you can get a charger or collection item that you need or already have.

Does your level in the game determine which gifts you are allowed to send as free gifts? Mine change periodically. For example, two weeks ago I could send the mobius bow. I can still send it from the wall, but it's not in my selection of free gifts anymore. Now I have the mobius band.
Just wondering if there is some type of rhyme or reason as to why they change and if there is something that determines what shows in your selection. Fairly new to the game and just trying to figure out the ins and outs.

They change your choice of gifts randomly every week I think.

I've kept track of the changes to my free gifts list since a couple of months after I started playing. I have to assume that everybody's experience is at least similar.
2/6 - lvl 25 - 23 gifts
2/14 - lvl 27 - 10 old, 16 new = 26
2/20 - lvl 29 - 9 old, 18 new = 27
2/21 - lvl 30 - added 3= 30
3/8 (1)- lvl 32 - 13 old, 13 new = 26
3/8 (2) - lvl 32 - 10 old, 20 new = 30
3/15 - lvl 35 - 13 old, 20 new = 33
3/22 - lvl 37 - 12 old, 16 new = 28
3/27 - lvl 39 - 15 old, 20 new = 35
3/29 - lvl 41 - 14 old, 18 new = 32
4/5 - lvl 44 - 16 old, 24 new = 40
4/9 - lvl 46 - added 1 = 41
4/12 - lvl 46 - 39 old, 1 new= 40
4/13 - lvl 46 - 17 old, 21 new = 38
4/20 - lvl 49 - 18 old, 18 new = 36
Kind of a fluid consistency, I think. Today is 4/27, lvl 52, and nothing's changed so far.

How do you know what is in the mystery gift you receive? I click "accept" and it just vanishes without telling me what's in it. I just take for granted that there is actually something in there!

U can see the mystery gift when u close that screen. They pop up for a moment. You'll see like a flashlight or something. Briefly. Lots of flashlights and snails I believe.
