I'm not as far as you are, but I've read that the Ship in a Bottle quests (where I am) lead to the Brig in a Bottle quests (build ship), which lead to quests to get the crew, which lead to sailing to the Secretive Island, which lead to quests to do stuff on the Island. Somebody who's been there & done that could give you more details.

If you have not made it to the island already you probably have a way to go. The only way to make it through this quest is to get the Aqua Vitea from a friend. Recommend you look at your friends who have more than one of the items and ask him what he would trade for it or take a look at your friends and see what you can give to propose a trade. Most friends will trade with you. Believe you have to get three of the Aqua Vitea to complete the quest...thus, you have to ask three different friends for the item.
