2013 Independence Day Event

To be exact, it gives a 70% increase in finding, coins and experience. Since I used mine, I think I remember liking it. At the time, it was a stackable charm - but you never know what GI has changed on us.

As Dazza said though, I will not collect that reward until the very end of the event.

That said, I will start using up charms from other events. I still have the crystal heart, golden turkey and others. I don't want them to bite me in the rear later for holding them in inventory.

I've opened a lot of chests, but don't have a full collection of anything yet. So have not charged even one. I'm getting a lot of hats and chests as gifts.

Just curious... I've been wondering if I should continue to gift hats? I've been doing a quick scan of friends chargers, if someone isn't out I will gift a hat. What does anyone else think?

I would just gift hats until the event is over. People canstill sendout wall requests or message you if they need a charger.

Anyone know what charms work with the Independence Charm?  I was wondering if the Flowers, Rising Sun and Golden Elephant can be stacked with it before I use it.

Flowers and Golden Elephant did stack with Independence Day charm last time I used it. Didn't have Rising Sun at the time.

Thanks Lynn, I knew something worked with it last year but couldn't remember, if the Rising Sun will stack it would be like Xmas!!

The golden phoenix does, 1 energy point per sec.

As soon as I took my declaration gift, all of my Uncle Snatch's turned into Uncle Sly. Sorry I redeemed my reward.
