They only come during a monster/full moon event, which we are having now. What I've found, is I have to hang around the yard a bit and wait for monsters to appear. Banishing one monster or a minion igor seems to trigger more monsters to come. I have to stay a while to get more. If I leave and come back, they are not there. Finding them in another persons yard, I don't know. I only do monsters in my yard. Other creatures I banish in friends yards but not monsters because of the wait thing. Maybe others will have different input, that's been my experience.

I'll suggest you go to top player list. Usually they have monsters in yard.

Hi!!
You can get the monsters in your yard by banishing the yard snatchins. If you banish a yard snatchin you get a monster, if you banish the monster you get another yard snatchin. I banish all the snatchins in the yard and leave the monsters for others to banish.

I did not know this! What exactly is a yard snatchin? A snatchin knight type guy? All the miscellaneous things floating around that are not monsters? I'm gonna try it.
