My monster quest is broken

So the only quest I have left is to charge the Bain of the undead collection. I finished bsnishing the pumpkin heads, dark adepts, phantoms, etc and need to get the diplomas for charging the collections. The last monster quest they had "news" items for each diploma, and from talking to a few other folks they are getting these diploma news items/quests. However all I have is the same monster news item that announced the start of the event. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am wrong about how to do this? All I know is I don't have any way (that I know of) to get the diplomas. Any suggestions?
