Games torch disappeared?

Hi,

I just finished the Olympic event, got the chest and then noticed that all 25 charged collection items composing the games torch disappeared, and the torch never showed up. It is like I never the items or charged the collections... I did get the chest with a dinner and a ton of keys, but no torch... I was running a golden Phoenix at the time, so I'm hoping that did not prevent the torch from activating or something... The event disappeared too from the right column of the mansion...

Did this happen to anyone ?

Yes the items are taken on completing for the chest reward. There will still be snatchin in the manor to banish for some days yet, think I remember it being nine days after monsters or six days, still time anyway to collect more stuff.

but I never had the chance to charge the artifact and get 24 hours of energy, find items, etc.... that cannot be right, can it ?

You can collect more now as you get 22 days on Olympic quests. Not everyone went for the chest but as with some quests like the island ones you do have to give up five lots to progress further, with the Olympics it is choice as to whether you keep your five x five or go for the chest but trust me if you run a turtle I was getting a banish weapon each room, either bubbles or rope. Without turtle lucky to get one every seven rooms. Hope this helps, it is a little harsh that they keep them but weigh up the odds if detective chest with five hundred seeds in is worth it, for me, fed up with no other way to get in Sakura room, it was def worth it and I've got five days Olympics left and have min of 18 each item from each collection and have since charged artefact six days so you can def keep getting sufficient to hoard the items up if you use a turtle.

Can you still find the collection items for the parts of the torch artifact or was just a temporary Olympic event?

It's a temporary event only.
