I have a few questions about known cheaters. I have gotten two friend requests in the past two days and when I click to accept a message pops up that says this person is a known cheater and has limited game functions. What happened to get them labeled as known cheaters? What game functions do they not have? I have been ignoring the requests. Is it worth it to become friends with known cheaters or should I just keep ignoring the requests?

Re: Known Cheaters
That is crazy! I got accused of cheating 3 times, when I certainly wasn't cheating. I just had a lousy Internet connection each time I was accused. Who knows? Maybe I would have the same message if I requested to be someone's friend.

Re: Known Cheaters
GI is diminishing their own warnings to anyone who's played the game for any length of time by being overly aggressive with giving out false accusations of cheating. As people catch on that many of the warnings are not merited, they will not view the "cheaters" as people who knowingly and intentionally cheated, but instead as victims of GI.
GI should be using the cheating label very sparingly and only when there is conclusive evidence that the person actually cheated, not when they've simply travelled with their iPad across a time zone or had a flaky internet connection while playing.
But since GI has chosen to be so highly aggressive in falsely accusing honest people of cheating, it is impossible to determine which of those marked as "cheaters" actually did anything wrong. Therefore, I will not hold that label against a person. Furthermore, what GI does not seem to grasp is that the more they alienate their customers, the more people will not hold cheating against a person, but will instead see it as payback for how GI has mistreated their customers.
GI may have figured out how to develop a great game, but they have a whole lot to learn about customer service.

Thanks for the explanation
Thanks Vicki', I just thought it was weird that they were labeling people. I have no idea how someone would cheat in the game, but I guess I am not that computer savvy and am too honest to think of it.
