Help me be a better player please

Hi everyone, I just found this forum yesterday! I really wish I found it a few months ago. Anyway I'm not sure how to best gift and use my friend help tips. Should I just tip all 10 on each person until i run out, choosing different friends daily. Or should i try to save to wake sleepers or just tip 1 or 2 rooms per person?

Another question... Gifting! I did read a good post by the gift nazi (can't remember the user name) but still have some questions. Should I just go to manors and give collection items and move on or should I post on walls and let the person know. Personally I like when it's posted on my wall because sometimes I forget or click gifts too fast and can't remember the senders name. At the same time I wonder if some take those type of wall posts as annoying.

My final question for today is about requesting items. I've been requesting items from all friends almost everyday. I request charging items and have the minimum for most collections plus some. I'm at the point where I have almost nothing available to request. Is there other ways to make requests for items I've not stumbled upon yet? Or should I lay off the requests for a bit?

MeNMy6Cats I will try and give you brief answers to your questions. There are posts covering most of this on the forum which I'm sure you'll discover in due course. The thing to remember is that people approach MM in different ways, there isn't a right way to play. You need to decide what works for you.

For what's it worth I've been playing for 8 months although I'm taking a break from active playing. My level is 200+.

How many rooms you tip is really a personal preference. It also depends on how many friends you have. I vary the amount and which rooms I tip from friend to friend. For example, with friends who are just starting out I tip the inner rooms while for higher level players I tend to focus on the outer rooms especially those that don't need keys to explore (with the fortune-telling room being an exception everyone has heaps of runestones). When I don't leave a gift for a friend or they are a BFF (LOL) I tend to tip all 15 rooms.

The thing to also consider, when tipping, is what your profession is (you will need to ask a friend to tell you). Some players don't like tips from bankers and prefer that they wake sleepers. Check players walls, people often post thier tipping preferences. Sometimes they can be quiet complicated.

I usually leave a brief note if I leave a gift or tip rooms. Like you I tap quickly when collecting gifts and, at times, get distracted and miss the name. I guess some may find the messages annoying but noone has asked me not to post.

There is no other way to request chargers once you have the amount required to charge the collection other than putting them on your wish list.

Agree 100%. If you want to maximise your chances of getting a gift from your friends including, at least one charger, on your WL is a must.

It is simple mathematics I have just over 100 friends and only 10 collection items to gift per day but I do have 50 chargers. As a rule I don't check people's collections to see if they are running low on a charger (if none are on their WL). Depending on the friend they either get nothing or I leave one of the more popular charging items.
