HomeI'm into the current XMas quests and started to get glacial swords again. If I complete the Villian's Atonement Quest and banish the Snominator, will glacial swords stop dropping again? Also, do you have to be playing MM when your Christmas tree gives gifts every 6 hours in order to get the wrapped present?

In answer to your first question, yes they stop dropping!

Thanks, I made the mistake of charging collections when glacial swords first started dropping before and didn't want the same thing happening again.

Hi, I'm not that far into the new set of Christmas Quests but I can refresh your memory on the first use of Glacial Swords.
You're quite right, they were/are for banishing Snow Elves, Snowminators and Vikings. At first, they dropped the Evil Snowman collection items #152 but stopped dropping items as soon as you charged it. From then, you got the Hard in Treatment (Healing Ointment) quest to collect those items to charge the Vitaminion Cup #149 but it was only the Snow Elf that would give healing items, the others just dropped chargers. Ear-twitching & Snowdolls were the other snatchin's that dropped healing items.
And yes, you can go to sleep and your Christmas Tree will grow on in your absence.

When you click on the tree after the 6 hrs, doesn't matter how long after then the counter starts to countdown from 6 hrs again. So it's 6 hrs from collecting your gifts before you can collect again.

I'm having such an annoying time with these Xmas quests being just plain obtuse and buggy. I just got this quest and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do to help 25 friends... I'm assuming this is referring to simply joining battles?
