Keeping phenomena in rooms

Are you all finding that you can still keep a phenomenon in a room by closing out of the game before accepting dropped items?

It is not working for me since the update. I am still stuck on Neptune, of course and on the rare occasion the mist appears in the bathroom I cannot keep it there anymore. Am I just doing it wrong? I was successful with it in the past but hadn't tried in a while until this obnoxious quest.

I'm pretty sure that this ability was disabled quite awhile ago with one of their updates.

Thanks, that's what I figured....I have pretty much given up on Neptune, had the quest since Before Thanksgiving. Wouldn't care except I feel it's holding me back from getting new quests that most folks have already had like island, Selene, and brig

If you have a good MM friend, I'm sure they would lend you Neptune if you asked

I have a couple of people said they they would but when they tried they discovered GI had taken them out of their inventory, so I guess loaning is no longer possible.

You are absolutely right, I just checked my gifts - that is so wrong! You need a non updated friend.....

If its any help, I had to do the quests twice as my game died after I did it the first time, so it is possible!
