This has started today and lasts 14 days.
I had to banish one roamer around my manor to enable the Fairy of spring flowers to appear. Takes 4 rose petals to banish her and you can get one when you search any room (I'm using a turtle).
Have new quests associated with this event and the usual news item on the right of your manor.

Hi, has anyone gathered the five sets of flowers and accepted the chest yet? Are there any more quests / chests following it or do all your fairies disappear. Just trying to decide whether to charge or not to charge

For those that have charged the chest, what's in it? The description says 75000 coins and various charms. Are there new charms, or just a bunch of the old ones?

No idea what's in the reward chest as I haven't collected enough items yet! I'm keeping as many fairies as possible in my manor so friends can banish away freely!

A friend told me the reward sucks- like a turtle, Phoenix and elephant....of course along with 75000 worthless coins! It would have been worth it if there was a unique event charm, but not it's not even worth doing.

I wouldn't say the coins are worthless, I'm using lots of coins to buy Flashlights and time snails, these really help in the zodiac rooms. And also you can use coins to banish snatchins.

I wouldn't say the coins are worthless, I'm using lots of coins to buy Flashlights and time snails, these really help in the zodiac rooms. And also you can use coins to banish snatchins.
I get it, depending on where you are in the game they are all valuable rewards. My comment was more pointed at the parity in the economics of the game in that coins are virtually worthless compared to diamonds. I would gladly trade in 75000 coins for even one diamond.

Oh I agree with that Chris, I have just over 3.5M coins and I use a lot of them daily and could easily charge hundreds of collections and get more. Would be great to exchange a few for diamonds, though I do think GI's exchange rate would be poor !!!!
