Gifting limit

It appears that a number of people are being cut off from gifting and being told they have sent their limit. As I understand this there is some limit imposed by GI, not sure where this is, of 300. One friend who got cut off said they had not sent any gifts. Does anyone know anything about this limit and what all it encompasses, i.e. mystery gifts, wall requests filled, sent, just what exactly is included? And is it written anywhere for players to know about this arbitrary limit set by GI?

I know of this limit, it's been around for a while. As far as I know there is no "written" rule from GI stating this. I believe it accounts for all gifts, wall or otherwise, except thank you gifts. Probably more people are hitting it now due to increased activity with all the simultaneous events, plus I'll bet every time you send someone an Easter egg that counts!

As you put this in the "new updates"-section: are you referring to another limit than the normal one? or is it a normal game strategy question that gets answered i.e. here?

I put my question in where I thought found info for gifting , at any rate what is the normal limit that you refer to? I have friends like I said who are being told by the game that they have hit their gifting limit and am trying to determine what comprises this limit. It appears that thank you gifts do not count as she accept gifts and send thank yous just fine. She is getting when trying to send wall request I believe.

What I have noticed, keep your free gifts to 49, and during multi events you can send 300 before you know it, but I also know that it resets when your normal reset occurs, hope this helps!!
