Try weekly top ranked player "helloquirky" She is usually ranked around 175 th place. She has most creatures down to 1/10. She had the ancient skeleton yesterday...

I got mine through general exploration using a turtle. They don't seem to drop as frequently when you have a quest for them but they will drop. Just persevere. After you finish this quest in will seem that they drop much more frequently. Don't know if they really do but it will seem like it.

Edit: nvm I found one. Christmas Girl in the ratings list. And coolcode has a lvl 1 Swamp Monster.
