I am getting requests on my wall for wooden chests. How is this possible?

The chests are from a fourth of July event that has now finished. Your friends are asking you to open them (you can open chests and beach bags two ways - by paying one diamond or sending it to a friend).
All you have to do is tap the chest, like you do any other wall request, it doesn't take anything from your inventory and you get a few coins for your trouble.
