I'm trying to decide if I should charge collections that I've previously charged or leave them. I can better share items by not charging. Anyone know the benefits of charging?

The decision whether to charge a collection more than once depends on the reward for doing so. I charge collections multiple times if the reward is something that I find useful. For me, that includes experience points, certain charms (usually the gold ones), food and some tools.
There are only a small number of collection items that I'm reluctant to gift. However I make exceptions to my 'rules' LOL. I have found that my MM friends are very generous and if I'm after a particular item many are happy to either gift it if it is on my Wish List or trade for it.

Another reason to charge collections is the ratings board for most collections charged.
