Considering deleting MM

I'm level 119 and like everyone else have lost my entire friends list over 400 friends!!! And lost all my helpers for about 10 mins today I thought it was fixe as I could visit friends accept gifts and was starting to get new helpers but now there all gone again!!!
Been playing this game a lot over the past few months as I have been off work but now coming home and finding things are just getting worse I'm seriously considering deleting it altogether. Emailed GI and still had no response might give this game " found " a go . Anyone else thinking the same ???

My friends are all back and gifts are now coming through again. It's very frustrating because 2 very kind friends sent items I needed that didn't arrive.

I have a couple of helpers now. Not all that happy. I hope the next update solves some of these issues.

I'm done with this game. Have tried many ways but useless. Got only 4 helpers so far. They haven't fixed it.

I know what you mean. Last time I looked GI were promising an update next week. Nothing ever happens at a weekend. Out of sheer curiosity I will wait and see what happens. Thankfully I have only spent a few pounds on this game so I don't feel out of pocket but I have invested a lot of time. It's been so quiet this weekend. I think many, many players feel as you do.......understandably!

Lost all mine for the third time yesterday, no sign of them coming back.... Support said problem was fixed but clearly it isn't!! I have opened a new ticket and 24 hours later got a response saying they have transferred my case for a special investigation and it will take at least 5 days to come back to me!!

Yes, getting sick of it now too! Have downloaded the other game mentioned above, looks good so far...

It is NOT a normal distribution as of now, because there are no player with level <50 affected, base on 42 affected players who took time to participate in the poll.

For the affected players, I am sorry your game got messed up and I hope you will get your game fixed.

Due to technical works on game server such social features as visiting friends, using codes, sending gifts, etc were temporarily unavailable. By now, all limitations have been removed and you can freely enjoy the game process.

In case you are still experiencing any issues with your helpers please follow my instructions: open and exit the Friends menu -> explore any room in your manor -> rescue your friends again in order to get the helpers back.

Recognizing a trapped friend is easy: simply look for an exclamation point over your friend's name. To rescue a player, tap the exclamation point, choose Rescue and explore the room in which your friend is trapped. If you succeed, your friend will become your helper and will be marked with a hand icon.

At the moment we have no opportunity to restore your lost gifts but we are working on creating a system that will allow to do so. Anyway I transferred your request to our specialists so they could take it into account.

Also I am sure that you have a lot of good friends that will support you on the matter and will give you a lot of another gifts.

I got the exact same answer the first time, but my helpers still aren't back! I replied to their answer saying it hasn't worked and that helpers still weren't appearing, and finally got a reply back saying that they were going to carefully investigate my case and would get back to me as soon as they could but it was likely to take 5 days!!

I have lost all my helpers as well. For two days I could not reply to friends on my wall, & when I visited the "post to wall" button was greyed out. I lost all my gifts in my pending tab, about 60. I have filed a ticket. I don't appear to have friends to rescue; my friends list is in a completely different order.

I'm also one of the ones who have assembled everything for my UFO; the last quest is finally just to visit it. The assembled Alien Language Decoder is sitting in my inventory but when I try to visit the UFO it acts like I don't have it. In another ticket response I was told 2 weeks ago that this woud be fixed in a "future" update.

I lost my helpers days ago (Thursday) along with 2 rounds of gifts. I had no sign of helpers returning - no one trapped in rooms and all of my friends list out of order. This morning though I finally got into the Selene room and I guess my first helper was trapped in there, although I could not see it. Once that one popped up, I was able to see other trapped helpers as long as they are on the map. When they stopped popping up, I started running through the outside rooms (island, pirate, UFO) until I released the next one.

I have all 15 back now, although they are not my helpers - not the ones I've had for so long and I miss seeing their names. I actually had crafted my helpers so that they're the perfect mix of maximum xp, finding and coins.

Anyway, I'm glad that one wasn't trapping in the crypt since I haven't opened that yet. But if you are searching for your helpers, try searching all of the outer rooms too.

Hope this helps someone.

Only got back 8 helpers this time, my 7th set of helpers.

Do you think they are with the missing ninjas?

I do understand everyone's frustration, it is getting ridiculous!! The more they fix the more they break!!!

But I will wait it out, the thought of losing my friends is worse than sticking with this game! It is sad that they are killing a wonderful game and can not see people love this game, but the more they try to tweak it, the more players they lose of all levels, not just the higher level. I would be happy with quest that are "search the kitchen 10 times, bathroom 15" something to do!

Anyway, when I find the ninjas I will find the rest of my helpers!!!

I'm lazy to check my manor today because I'm not sure if they have fixed
mine or not. So far I have 4 helpers only. Seems like they have only one answer if we sent a ticket to them. Hmmmm it tells me how creative they are.

It seems like I lost all my helpers and stored gifts in my inbox when I tried to open my friends list. Before that I had been fine - well, except for the game sometimes losing gifts in transit, both to me and from me. Though that seemed to have settled down in the last few days.

After a week of the connection issues, I've lost all helpers, found them again (losing phenomena I was trying to keep), lost them, recovered some ( using Sams tip) and then lost everything, friends, helpers, tips, gifts. Got them all back about 2 hours ago today but not the gifts sent inbetween typically.

It's been a Hellish week, GI playing Trick or Treat on us? I find it interesting that the Poll shows 101-150 most affected. The majority pool of players?

One other thing I have also had occur on various days this crazy week, I get a little blue box centre screen appear out of nowhere asking me to confirm the purchase of Diamonds for £34.99!! This usually happens when I am trying to write a message or I simultaneously get a charm expired notification. If I had clicked too quickly, I would have made a number of very expensive involuntary purchases!! Sneaky Suspect

I've never purchased a thing, but I have sent 3 tickets to GI this week with my UDID! Not a single reply I might add.

I've lost mine a total of 3 times now (so far) but this time when they came back only 7 returned, then I happened to search one of the outside rooms and when I'd finished another had popped up!! I definitely found one in the pirate ship and one in the island, no more have popped up yet, just hope there isn't one hiding in the damn crypt.... Evil or Very Mad

Very sneaky re diamond purchases, I wonder how many people have been caught out like that. You might find it useful to disable app purchases on your iPad!

Update - last night, one by one the rest of 15 helpers came back but nearly all of them were in the outside rooms, including the pirate ship, the island, space ship and Selene. They don't show as exclamation marks in those rooms so it was only by randomly exploring that I found them. It was lucky that I had enough of each item required to explore those rooms in my inventory or I might never have found them....

Another interesting point - all are different to the originals, and instead of having 5 each of scientists, explorers and bankers, I now have 7 explorers and 4 each of bankers and scientists!

I do not want to risk losing any more helpers so until the update is released I will not be opening my friends menu at all - it seems that every time I opened the friends menu is when I had problems and they disappeared each time...

Hope this helps those suffering with the same issues!!

Sound familiar? Don't you just love that personal connection.

Didn't address my issues regarding valuable artifacts & charms wasted during the week they decided to DO things to their servers, without giving forewarning to players. Making the game unplayable for over a week and then some.

Special mention here for Caz:
Thanks for that tip, I found how to disable In App Purchases under Restrictions ( how long have I had this iPad and not understood it). That sneaky GI message now appears every time I log in: up pops the Bank Box & over the top, that little sneaky Buy Diamonds Blue Box appears, but it now says 'Error, In App Purchasing disabled on this Device'! Haha!

I lost helpers ten days ago and contacted Support. This is their reply:

Hi,
This problem is know, it is connected with too big friendlist.
If instruction doesn't help there is the only way to fix this.
You shall wait for a next update which will be released approximately in 9 days.
Problems with helpers and collections will be fixed then.

I have only 90 friends total! They never asked how many I had. I have told dear Andrey to take this up again with his Supervisor. Obviously they can't fix something if they can't diagnose the cause.

- I am not sure what collections problem he is referring to - my original email was about missing gifts and helpers - not the more recent one re unable to see friends collections or crashes etc.

Its been 14 days, since the start of poll (8nov). Current statistics 22nov12 are shown below. Still find it NOT a normal distribution.

As there seem not to be new people who lost helpers, I guess we can put this bug behind and make the best of this skewed game.

Keep in mind, the distribution of mmuff members is probably also skewed towards higher level players.

'The fact that you have already rescued 15 helpers means that you are on the right way.

Note that locked helper can be in any room even in the Crypt, Secret Island, Pirate Brig, Flying Saucer and so on. This game feature were carefully checked by our specialists and I can assure you that all helpers in the game will appear.

So keep playing, exploring rooms and I am sure you will succeed.

Keep at it, it will pay off!'
