FYI - for ANY item that drops from the snatchin cook, if it drops it will satisfy the quest. So the quest might be mist in the library for a mixer (making that up as an example), if it drops from the snatchin the quest is done. This should save you a LOT on these scenario based quests. Others that don't drop from snatchin, not sure yet...

I banished the 10 Snatchin Cooks in the first part of the quest, but the only quests that followed were the ones that asked for the collection items in the "Jubilee Cake" collection (i.e. Chocolate, Caramel, Whipped, Nuts, and Plate of Fruit), charge the Jubilee Cake, and the "Sweet Foundation" quest - which I assume is the first tier upgrade to the cake.

The other quests you listed above are not there (yet).

Do they appear after you upgrade the first tier? That sucks. It's going to take me forever to collect 10 each of the collection items to get that first tier (and I refuse to spend the diamonds for it). Not to mention I went ahead and charged the Jubilee Cake thinking that maybe the other quests would finally appear. They don't. Had I known that, I would have waited to charge it.

I know banishing more Snatchin Cooks will drop some of those items, but even with an Olympic Torch and a Turtle, I'm still stuck with charge items instead of collection items. What a waste!

Same for me, I only have the cake quest. Completed the first 3 but no other quests have appeared.

If you are referring to snatchin jazzman then it is the musical note paper

In answer to MN, yes, more quests appear after you upgrade each layer of the cake. I finished the cake yesterday and am now on the third quest in the second list above. Waiting for the mist to appear in the kitchen is like waiting for paint to dry! Waiting for phenomena to appear is a real pain so these quests could take forever to complete....

It seems like once you complete a quest the collection items don't drop again so I've been waiting on all of them until I had more than one of each item before I charged it, but I hate having gaps in collections so if you're not bothered about having gaps then you can probably move forward with the quests much quicker! Lol

So to get the Golden Year award do I have to finish all the quests for this event or can I get it before?

This might just be me, but I started the quests for the music collection and important people over the past week and it was taking forever using a turtle and sometimes a game torch also. I got sick of feeling like I was wasting the turtles bc none of the items were dropping from the rooms (I think I searched the lab like 50 times) and I ended up getting most of the music collection from the cake or the jazz snatchin. Then today trying to get the important people items for the quest I decided to use a gold clover instead of a turtle. The items dropped from the rooms on the first try, so like I said it might just be my game, but if your stuck u might try it

An fyi. I got the quest for the necklace exploring the sakura room in silhoutte.. Charged all my collection used all my seeds, even bought some from the snatchin merchant! Banished ninjas until i lost the will to live.

Gave up wasn't going to buy anymore, especially after seeing that a few quest down the line I was back in night mode!!

Paid 3 diamond to speed up the cake and out popped the necklace

Explored Sakura room many times but this necklace never drop. Tried the second option: speed up the annv.cake many times but so far no miracle happened. Any ideas ?

I've had one from the love snatchin too if that helps, but mostly from the tree, sorry.

I have built the cake and working on the individual quests following. I am wondering if the Party Planner and Jazzman will eventually drop other items than the ones that it drops now. I have a lot (over 700 each) of the Music Papers and Horn of Wine. Seems a waste if that is all they are going to drop.

Nope, the snatchins don't drop anything else. The other collection items come from the quivers and the cake, checks, yup cake

Nope, the snatchins don't drop anything else. The other collection items come from the quivers and the cake, checks, yup cake

AFAIK, the three snatchins (party planner, jazz man and cook) and the cake are the only way to get items for the anniversary collections aside from the related quests and gifting. The quivers are for the Valentines day collections.

Is the birthday quest over? The "news" box where you could trade in for the anniversary charm just disappeared from my game. Too bad, I only got 10 of them so far.

I still have the news event, but havent claimed any rewards.

I've had 8 and my news box is still there!

Can you still get the charm after you've finished all the quests?

Yes, most of mine were got afterwards and it's still on my news box on the right of the map.

Great! Thanks! I was holding off on finishing them because I thought the newsbox thingy would disappear.

I just finally finished the cake and anniversary quests. It took me FOREVER to do the cake! I was not getting pastry bags at all, when I finally got the last one and moved onto the third level I already had everything to complete it but had quests to collect one of each item for the third level was scared to upgrade the third level before completing the quests so went back to searching for flour pans. Frustration won and I upgraded anyway.....and all the quests cleared! It was magical! Just wanted to share in case someone was in my position. We have been burned for charging too early, but in this case it was awesome

Thanks for the tips !! I moved onto the third tier yesterday after finally getting enough pastry bags, but I won't be finishing the third tier for a bit as I need 7 more thermometers and they never drop for me :-(

Since the zodiac update some modes of rooms changes with it.
For example, i was busy with "Explore the Living Room in ‘night’ mode for the necklace to find and this changed to "Explore the Living Room in zodiac mode".
So I first have to work on that zodiac mode.
