I am finding the most painful part of this quest is finding the weapons. NONE are dropping. Zip, zilch, zero!

I am having weapons drop, slow but they are dropping. Not sure why not dropping for you...

After I completed the I Know Nothing! quest, I got the “The Enemy’s Secret Plans!” quest:

Need to get Steel Legionnaire (coll 204) & Von Braun’s Emitter (coll 202).

“Assemble and charge the Hyperion Weapons collection and Storm Brigade collection. Drive away the Hyperion soldiers and explore the rooms of the Manor to collect the items.”

There's kind of a Catch-22 to this quest, I think. You have to use (removed) the items in Weapons coll to banish the soldiers to get the chargers to charge that coll to complete that part of the quest! Personally, I’m getting enough drops of chargers from the rooms to not have to banish the soldiers (if I’m patient). Also, you can buy the weapons for coins (30k-350k apiece).

I’ve only got these soldiers available to banish at my manor:

Grenadier – 4 x speedshooter ($65,000 each)
Storm General – 5 x ash maker ($135,000 each)
Storm Trooper – 2 x rifle ($30,000 each)
Punisher – 3 x rifle

Does anyone know if we have to save up anything for future quests in his string? Apologies if this has already been answered.

Can't you just ask friends for the chargers rather than banishing the soldiers? I already have requested and received enough chargers, but I don't have this quest yet. Still working on the earlier quests.

Duh (to me)! Obviously, my brain wasn't fully functioning when I wrote the above post. I blame the time I wrote it & a head full of allergies. OF COURSE, you can ask friends for the chargers! Again, duh!

Did you ever find out? I wanted to know the same, or if anyone has mapped out these quests yet.

I searched the quest map & iPadfunpage, but didn't find any more info. I'm going to ask my higher level friends if they know anything more. If I find out anything, I'll post it here.

If memory serves completing this quest gives you 2 of each weapon/soldier as you will need to enter hyperion for one quest, banish a few more storm troopers or something after that and then there's a visit hyperion at night 3 times quest which I'm just stocking up for.

Having proceeded with 3x Hyperion at night I had the following quests (apologies if order is wrong)

Search rooms of the manor to charge field nurse collection (209) - quick drops for this
Heal general and search bunker
3x room 51, 3x oceanic and 3x pirate brig

I am now on the charge General Krieg collection quest (210) where you have to banish troopers, tanks etc... for the collection items to drop, I'm short on ash makers due to previous quests so stock up on those.

Thanks so much for the heads-up! That's a huge help! Sounds like we'll have to stockpile weapons up the wazoo!

(Though I suppose I'll need the books to enter Hyperion which means I have to banish them anyway...sigh.)

I won't lie, this game can be frustrating to take without paying, but I REFUSE. Can't say I haven't been tempted though...

You can get the books for hyperion by banishing snatchin partisans and resistance fighters too. I would only banish the troopers that need 2 rifles for the books as well.

Having done the hyperion at night 3x again the next quest was the final one of the string. Again you need a bunch of ash burners and other weapons to get the drops. You also need to search rooms to gather collection 95 which is straightforward enough.

Hi Pauline,

I had the best luck getting the weapons in the yard and lower level rooms like the bathroom. I found this list of which soldier gives which collection item:

◾Assault Trooper - Banish the Storm Trooper
◾Punisher - Banish the Punisher
◾Grenadier - Banish the Grenadier
◾Avenger - Banish the Grenadier
◾Storm General - Banish the Storm General

How do you get the pirate brig? I vaguely remember hearing it was discontinued...here's hoping I'm wrong.

Hi lex, I've recently help 2 friends with Pirates needed for part of this quest,thus I think it's still around.

I have only had the brig open A coupe of months. I got the quest to build it after completing the crop circle quest series. I am level 103, but probably in the 89-90 range at the time.... Not sure if level matters to what quests you get or in what order.

I got to the brig last week....it is still around! Do you use the quest map that is on this site? It starts with quest 914 "beckoning silhouette". Amber surprise is the quest that hangs most people up.

This is independent of the crop circles, moon rover and UFO....I'm still working on those.

Yes I have used that website several times and I always remembered the pirate brig as being marked with the dotted line...but maybe my memory fails me (as it so often does these days...)
