IMPORTANT: Quest collection items will continue to drop until you charge the collection so be sure to stock up before charging.

Banish 5 Snow Elves with ice sword
Explore the rooms of the manor to find one Heather Honey and Rum Punch
Collect and charge the "Festive Food" collection (find collection items by exploring rooms of the manor)
Banish 10 Snow Vikings with ice sword
Explore the Fortune Telling room; explore the manor to find 30 snow flakes
Collect and charge the "Fir Trees of the World" collection (find collection items by exploring rooms of the manor in night mode)
Collect and charge the "Good Year" collection (find collection items by exploring rooms of the manor with phenomenons)

I haven't had any ice swords drop since finishing Christmas quests so I'll not be playing another pay to play room!

I just updated and played a few rooms with a turtle running but not a single ice sword dropped and they don't appear in the list of things to find in the rooms either, is there another way of getting them that doesn't require spending diamonds on the new chests that have appeared in the shop? 25 diamonds only gets you 15 swords, 50 diamonds gets you 30 swords and 75 diamonds gets you 50 swords in chests containing keys to the new snow bunker and something else which I forget! Admittedly this is cheaper than buying 10 swords for 55 diamonds, which is also an available option, but even so is damn expensive!!! Looks like another money spinner.....

I have been playing for nearly 3 hrs now since I updated, I have the faberge charm and a turtle of luck running and I have found 9 glacial swords. I finished the first quest to banish 5 elves and they are still dropping (not a brilliant drop rate but consistent). Then there was a quest to find honey and punch by exploring rooms (1 each) then collect and charge the festive food collection. I've now got a quest to banish 10 snow Vikings - I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me will come up with a guide:)

Anyway, swords do drop - just keep running charms

Thanks Katy! I have set the olympic artefact going as well as the turtle so hopefully that will start them dropping although in 5 rooms played since I started it none have dropped yet.... I wonder if whether they drop has anything to do with whether you still have any of the Christmas quests left because I finished those ages ago so I don't know if they stay for those people who hadn't finished them after the event was over?

I'm not sure about the drop rate for other friends (I also haven't got the swords since I finished the Christmas quests). But I'm getting about 1 in every 10-15 rooms, a bit like the chocolate medals or silver combs, so have also been running the rose/pheonix combo. I have been advised by a lovely friend to keep phenomena and night mode in (non paid) rooms as these are needed for further quests.

Yay! One finally dropped after about 15 rooms!! I have succumbed and bought a chest though as I'm too impatient to wait that long! Luckily I had enough diamonds from the last lot I bought when the leprechaun event was on offering 3 times as many for the price... Found the honey from the next quest, just looking for the rum punch now!

No drops of swords for me at all running turtle, Olympic and cornucopia at the same time and searched I guess 100 rooms or so.
I wonder what triggers the drop? Since Xmas quest I think none have dropped for me...

Newsflash; Swords start dropping again when there's a quest for them...

Are there new collections? Any other gifting changes?

I only ran a turtle and got the first 3 swords 1 in 4 the last 2 took me quite a few more. Now they don't seem to be dropping as frequently as the combs, which wasn't many

By the way, ran my energy right down before levelling up and got a pop up selling 2 hearty dinners, chocolate, breakfast, coffee and full restoration for 69p. New and exciting ways to make money!

I had a torch running and a turtle and had fairly good success with getting swords; however, when the torch ran out I have not gotten any in visiting 20 rooms. I like this game, but refuse to continue to spend money on these unattainable quests. A dollar here and there is fine, but this is crazy. Almost finished with this game.

Thanks for the updated list of quests! I still haven't had many swords drop, even after buying a chest... So after purchasing the chest I've done the first quest and the second for the honey and punch, spent 30 diamonds to complete the quest instead of exchanging with the snow Vikings which would have cost more, am now onto the quest to charge the tree collection but not a single tree has appeared despite searching umpteen rooms in night mode.... I think they're making these quests harder and harder for people to achieve so they don't have to do new ones as often...

As someone who was stuck on Neptune quest for about 6 months I'm not relishing being stuck on these for ages but it looks like we will be...

Incidentally I've had a turtle running, and Olympic artefact plus the flower one that gives 80% extra XP... Is there anything else I should be running? Sometimes I find running more things gives a lesser drop rate than with just one thing, there doesn't seem to be any consistency to it...

Ask a friend that already has Neptune to gift it to you, then, if they want, send it back. That one should be easy.

I was just wondering: what are the weapons needed to battle the boss? Is there anything I should be stocking up on as I go through these quests?

Also, I concur that with a turtle and Olympic torch, the drop rate for swords is around 1:10.

For people running lots of charms and not having luck with the drops, I ran with just faithful heart and tips, with a copper clover part of the time. I went through about 2500 energy on a mix of rooms and found five glacial swords.

@ Helian, i believe weapons are same as for crypt and castle.

Also, updated first post to note two new achievements relating to snow queens citadel.

The drop rate for the swords was very low, about 1 in 10 for me, but I happened to join a battle in the castle. The swords were dropping, every other search, with only the turtle running.

I don't even believe the charms do anything at all. GI just wants our money my friends. Big fat rip off. They haven't even made good on my 3 times diamonds from a leprechaun sale. All I got was face value. The charms are as fake as they are. Lies

Does anyone know if, when you banish the 10th snatchin cook - do the flour bolters still drop from rooms? (and at the same rate?)
