I thought I would write this here as a post, as I got some private messages how exactly I did my last 2times Level up
    on my TurtleTour yesterday.

Though I don't think, it was really lots of strategy, but come to think of it - it was in the end - but paired with a lot of luck. Most of it you can find in tips and hints here in the forums, but as I said - I was asked several times...
So here is what I did:

I started with Lvl 48 and about half the experience I would need for the next level.

To be honest, I had some quests that needed finishing, and I knew that after some would come others that would have been finished at once as I already had lots of the stuff needed for them (the luggage collection i.e.)

One of the quests was the "knights steed", so I charged the hand of midas to get the 30 horseshoes, I hadn't yet charged my the golden knight, so the quest didn't immediately complete. (This was good, because now I could eat my cake and keep it Smile as you can do away with the horseshoes once you have the green "tick" in the quest window)
Next I started the turtle and did 1-2 Room searches, so the golden Phoenix I started next would have something to do and went searching in friends manors for those gypsies to trade the golden horseshoes with, As I still had lots of silver horseshoes as well, I went on a banishing spree - Did some of those beach people as well, come to think of, and of course every snatchin that came my way that can be banished with coins had to bite dust.
Banishing figures gets you a lot of experience on the long run.

(Of course I was distributing my strength on the way - waking up everything I found - as I had asked most of my Explorer and Scientist friends to leave me hints before, I wanted to return the favor.)

Once I had used up all my horseshoes I charged the golden knight and had about 6 more "quests finished" windows pop up afterward. (Luggage, I think) So when I finally got to exploring rooms, I was already on the end of that level, timing it so, that the last of my strengh would bring me over.

Using up about half of that renewed Energy, and not having found another of those stupid Scythes to banish Joe the farmer (I needed another 2 of those) and not having any seeds for the sakura room anymore, I again went to a friends manor (one is not supposed to kill the ninias in ones own yard to keep them for ones friends - and word of advise: don't banish the last one you need for a quest on a manor where there are at least 2 of the same floating around or you will loose them too) and used some Bows on that Ninja gardener in hope to find another Scythe. I did, banished my to Joes, and got the whole Ninja quest-ology. 3 more types, each 10 times to banish. Happily I had enough of the weapons from earlier searching to banish them all (and two friends with the Ninjas as neighbours - *hugs* to Charlotte & Sara Smile )
(Aaaand ...I could do that because I still had two barbells for the Last Ninja girl needs 45 strength each.)

Job well done, still another couple of thousands away from the lvl up, what can I say.... I charged my first African Diamond... And went over the lvl cliff again. Used up all the energy, eat up all my food - I even charged some more collections for food, halfway to the nex level and was - I'm almost proud to say - in the end almost fed up with MM for the first time.

    cheers

Awesome, And I agree Turtles can take it out of you. Wish they had a three hour turtle. Best to plan ahead before using one. Sounds like you had some great planning. Were you ready for a nap afterwards? Sleep Very Happy

oh, I definitly was, as it was 1 am when the turtle finished. Not so great planning, but I never had it work like that for me before either, and as I saif - a lot of quests to be concluded (I did the "locks"-quest as well )

I'm sorry I didn't leave you hints yesterday... I've been at work the whole day. Sad
