Bugs in the new update.

Are you absolutely sure that the awards for the achievements you unlocked were chests? I completed a bunch last night and for most the rewards were a compass, a tesla coil, a magnet, etc. and they just went to inventory rather than arriving in a chest. That said, I didn't see any problems with the achievements last night although I did have some connectivity issues.

Me too. Happened quite often last night and 2x today. I would receive a message saying I had earned a chest but nothing ever appeared in my inventory. Given the amount of server issues GI is experiencing with the new uodate, do you think contacting them about missing chests would do any good?

I did a spreadsheet yesterday of achievments , their levels, tasks and rewards, at least as far as I had already accomplished them. Many were not even started, for some I had the 1st ribbons, 1 or 2 I had further along on the 3rd or 4th ribbon. Although because of the initial "whoa-update-cool" I did not remember exactly the first steps of those higher ones, one thing became quite clear: as MBstr8k stated, most of the 1st ribbons rewards are coffee, teslas, idols chocolate or moebius bands, the chests appear earliest at ribbon 2 or after.

Yesterday I got a message for completing stage 2 (called "Darling") of the "Birthday person" achievment, which is the "birthday chest" I got,
Today as the popup window showed, I should have got chests for ribbon 2 of "Hedgehog in the Fog" and the 2nd of "Dunderhead" (The failing exploration one) , but did NOT get them in my inventory. As it was the 1st ribbon for each of them for me, I was suspicious and looked it up in my spreadsheet. Indeed, the rewards were a moebius band and a cup of coffee - which I might have got or not (do YOU keep track of each moebius band? )

Later on I finished the 5th (yeah!) stage of "Dynamo" and actually got the chest, it's called "Dynamo Machine's Chest.
So there seems to be a glitch, but it doesn't seem to be that one doesn't get the reward, but that the congratulation messages show the wrong rewards.

What did I think? a Mystery Manor update without bugs?

By the way - The game crashes continually for me since the update. At least 15 times in 45 minutes this morning - lost 2 lucky clovers & silver yingyangs befor I could top them with a phoenix

yes, that happened a few times to me - even worse if you have a silver-yingyang combined with it and both of them are gone

From your post I'm not quite sure whether you have the concept of the faithful heart straight:
To get the faithful heart, you have to collect 4 fragments, for each of those you have to visit the Manor 7days in a row (it's this "a reward for your faithfulness" window popping up each day you open it)
After having visited the 4th time the 7th day (so 28 days in total, but you can start collecting for the next one already during the week the heart is running), you collect automatically the 4th fragment and the charm kicks in. I've had the faithful heart running last week before the update, did the update nevertheless, and still had it afterwards - so it should work these days.

regarding the code Mooscrat posted - when support sends a code to the person questioning, usually the code works _only_ for that person and _only_ once. So in this case it seems the code was _only_ to close the beach event, not supposed to work for you, and of course it had been used before.

If your game crash the minute you try something, close the app completely before you start the game again.
I can't say I'm sure, but I think it doesn't save the last action on the memory of the iPad if you do.

I always do that in case my gifts disappear (which happened to me before)
