Valentines Day quests

Supposedly -

The hearts gained from the Crystal Hearts Quest apparently do not work now that the Valentine's Day timer is over. This is a bug.

My first Crystal Heart will run out tomorrow. I'll wait until the bug is fixed before I use my second one.

Also - charging the Valentine's Day Collections results in not getting the prizes, just the gold coins. Another bug, I assume.

Hope an update that addresses these issues (and everything else) is released soon.

Crystal Heart is NOT fixed. I figured I might as well use it as a sacrifice and update everyone on this forum on whether it is fixed or not.

I just used it, and it just disappeared.

Game Insight gave me a Gift Code that gives the same effect as Crystal Heart.
Using it disables all your currently running charms. To make up for that, the code also gave me 30 diamonds.

That was the same deal I got back a little while ago. Well, at least that was nice of them...even though it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

You would think they would just fix the bug so that their support wouldn't have to deal with this issue, no?

I still have 1 crystal heart left. Does anybody know if it will work if I try to use it?

You should. Take a screenshot before you use it. If it doesn't work, mail support, they will give you the effect of the item.

The answer is no, they haven't fixed that bug yet. I tried to use the heart and no luck. I'm emailing them now...again...a second time for the same freaking problem

Also, have we gotten any official answers on whether we can charge "special" collections and get the reward items? I have the valentines dessert one that I have yet to charge and I don't know what to do with it.

The really disheartening fact is that these charging bugs are really easy to fix. It would take someone in their company at most 1-2 hours to look at the prize description and match it with their prize script.

Sometimes, I feel as if they don't even care to fix to problems. It benefits them.

That's right. That means if you worked hard for it, and saved it, and want to use it now - tough noogies. You're going to lose it, and they won't give you anything for it.

And this is the reason why I stopped buying diamonds for real money. When I download a free app and I really enjoy it, I always make some in app purchases as a way of saying thanks.

But this game is obviously only made to take money and "support" should be called "frustration desk".

So after my Christmas Tree dissapeared and I got no reaction from GI, I stopped spending money. And when my second crystal heart vanished and I didn't get my other hearts after charging the Valentine collections, I just shrugged. I am still having fun playing, but GI is getting nothing from me.

The reason their support is bombarded is because their products are buggy. If they fix their products and hold them to a higher standard, then they would have the resources to provide much better support.

At this time, it seems like support goes like this:
1. Receive support question from player
2. Send generic email that doesn't resolve the problem
3. Player responds with complaint
4. Send another generic email about how great things will come in the future
5. Player responds with continued complaint (with curses)
6. Support rolls a dice. If player gets a lucky 6, then send player a code that, sometimes, fixes the issue.
7. Player vows never to spend any more money on GI, and tells all friends

Nah, you theory is wrong. They throw 6 dices, and if they get 6 sixes, then you will get an answer that might actually be helpful.

I actually just told them my 2nd heart didn't work. They sent me the "known issue" spiel back without a code. I replied and asked for the code, and they did actually give it to me. Maybe it just takes some extra asking? Still a pain in the butt, I know, but worth a shot.
