Has anyone had their Monsters charm (which btw is completely worthless) start over on it's own when it was done? It won't let me use a turtle because it's says I already have something in use and the only thing I have is that stupid charm. Any ideas?

Several people on here have mentioned that happening to them. Their issues were not resolved until they contacted GI Support. I would suggest you do that also, otherwise it may just continually reset on you!
