Dark Adepts

This is ridiculous. I've searched all rooms in manor & charm to banish dark adept is not dropping. I have multiple charms stacked including turtle! Banishing ONCE costs 60 diamonds. Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone have suggestions for how to get charms to banish adepts? I'm at witts end and refuse to spend tons of $$$ for diamonds for this task I have only been able to banish 3 out of the 10 needed adepts. Still have 7 more to go...

I literally just finished banishing the last of my 10 Adepts. I found one that only needed 1 charm to banish on the monster leader board around 186. Look under the Weakened monsters thread in "Where do you find..." to find who has it, I can't remember player's name. I think it is about page 3 of that thread. (Short term memory is bad. :-D) Don't use what you have to banish a full one! Someone has a weakened one somewhere -- it just takes some digging to find them.

It took me forever to find enough charms to banish the 10 priestess and 10 Adepts. I would only banish weakened ones though! So, I only needed 20 charms total.
I ended the last full moon event with 2 Adept and 2 Priestesses left to banish and no charms. :-< I found the 4 charms I needed today searching rooms with the idol in it or a phenom in the room next door. It probably doesn't matter which rooms I explored, but I had an idol in the Japanese Garden and a phenom in the bathroom when I found them in the FT room. Two in each!

Unfortunately, you are right, they do NOT drop regularly. Key is to be patient and don't spend diamonds for the 10 pack! They will drop and when one does find a weakened one and go for it! I waited 2 mos. to clear this quest. LOL

I bet they start dropping now, that I've finished the quest......

Look for tabrich, #1 on Top Quest Performers (Player top, not Weekly top).

She has a Dark Adept at 1/5, Priestess of Chaos at 1/7, and two Phantom Knights, both at 1/10.

Thanks guys. I've actually only been banishing the weakened adepts & still have the 7 to go. The charms are tough to come by. I'll try searching rooms with phenoms in them though. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks, pianofingers! I will need those for the final two ribbons of the monster achievements! I hope they stay awhile. :-) It is hard to find those charms.

I have weakened my dark adept. Can't get online at the moment (out with my boys) but I think you are all my friends on this thread?

It really is bizarre. I've had the charm for banishing adepts etc drop like flies and managed to open a van helsing chest last night so can murder anything within reason - But t-Rex fillets! A while different story. With turtle, cornucopia and taking my best sniffer-dog helpers with me, I've burned nearly 1500 corals open the oceanic room in 100% expert mode and found just 4 of the buggers.

Maps for trading with seafarer snatchins no problem and I know others have struggled here. But fillets and soups just won't drop for me

I have a dark adept at 1/5 and a priestess at 3/7 right now, trying to bring her down to 1/7 if I can! And gemfinder, did you ever get those soups and fillets? Thought I would NEVER get them, had to finally ask friends. Would be happy to send to anyone, that is, if you haven't updated and can friend me!

The very last achievement gives you a chest with 50 of each item to banish monsters. If you have enough pumpkins to get rid of headless horsemen this will help )
