The cloak room and dressing too are the same thing.

The complete the quest to get 30 copper horseshoes just charge "visions of the future" collection. Easy easy
Next is silver bullet challenge do don't accept them from gift box.
Then you have to use 10 angry idols, 10 tesla coils, and 10 illuminati lamps. Do they want us to banish them or to complete achievements... I am not sure.

Is EVERYONE who updated today no longer able to enter friend codes??? If that's the case, I just won't update....why bother? I refuse to spend more money on this game. Before finding this forum (and the magic synthesizer) I spent plenty. Never again....no matter how much I love this game!

Awesome. Mine has been blank for last 6-7 hours. It's obviously more than just a connectivity issue.

I have not yet updated and my friends services screen is blank, too. I have not had a problem until this afternoon, so it must be out for everyone - updated or not.

I had the same issue with the friend screen. I was able to get it to appear after rebooting 4 times. I have no idea if that will work for anybody else but it did for me. I have been able to add codes without issue, since then.

I now have a quest requiring 50 each of bronze medals (from banishing snatchins), silver medals (searching rooms) and gold medals (searching paid rooms). 150 items, gah!

My services tab is blank too and was blank around 75% of the time since the previous update :/

Edited to say that I love the snatchin diver. What a cute little fella

Are these medals different from the set of medals that are the new chargers? I don't see any single medals in the collections.... Are they something completely different, like the torn shoes?

If I can't use friend codes to get diamonds, this game will become a MUCH smaller consumer of my time. I played for months trying to get oil cans and finally had to buy them to finish that quest. No diamonds, no multi gifts, no infinite energy, no Kelly.

Just left a 1 star review to that effect too Kelly.

Hopefully they will take note as the star rating plunges them down the Apps list.

I was just thinking the same thing. I can't even keep enough energy to search rooms and finish quests, let alone visit friends and tip them (as if I had built up enough strength anyway). Just as I suspected, I'm starting to lose interest because I can't actually do ANYTHING but wait. My best guess is they're trying like mad to force anyone not willing to pay for diamonds completely out of the game.

They won't keep players for long if they're too restrictive. It's a pretty boring game if you can't gift, can't visit rooms, can't leave tips, can't finish the quests unless you spend diamonds...A LOT of diamonds to make it interesting..not worth the money. I'm not updating yet. It's already restrictive enough here.

I just updated my rating from a five to a one too giving the reasons stated on this board. I actually have been using this social network more than Facebook, lately, but at least I don't have to buy diamonds on fb!

I agree. I've been so close to uninstalling several times...

Is everyone losing the gifts that they have not accepted when they update? I've been hoarding some miso soup and filets for the quest that needs twenty of each. I am almost to that quest and don't want to lose them just by updating!

Since the update, gifts aren't even showing up in a grid all the time like usual. It's chaos. And, can't accept coll gifts or mystery gifts so can't send thank you gifts. This when I need gifts to get thru these friggin quests!!

And, coll gifts I sent hours before this update got lost. And, now, I'm constantly getting prompt that I need an internet connection when I have 24/7 WiFi and 3G on this iPad. I was getting that in the past but now it's like, oh, you think you're going somewhere? Need connection. Oh, you want to view your wall? Need connection.

Of course there's the added bonus of the "Services" tab in the "Friends" window being completely blank! So, now I can't get gifts for these quests and I can't use friend codes to purchase charging items!

But, as someone else has already indicated, I too am getting a diamond here and there for people using my code.

I sent my BLEEPING UDID and SCREEN SHOT with my complaint. If I get that UDID request I'm going to lose it.

I'm still bitter for having to restart my game after level / rep 40+ (and had to restart it 3 times after that because I followed GI's instructions!). They kept trying to tell me how to back up and restore because I had transferred my data from an iPad to an iPad2. I finally said, since MM is the ONLY APP that isn't working, I think I know how to restore a friggin backup!!

I did get 3 diamonds yesterday evening for people using my code so not sure if those that haven't updated can still use it???

Been checking in frequently, awaiting more information on the new update.

After reading about existing gifts gets lost in inbox,
friends who did not update can get gifts by sending wall request but not the other way round,
blank friends page so we can't get diamonds,

I'm planning not to update until I finished collecting all the parts for island quest. Will I miss out on any fun?

Believe me you are not missing any fun lol

It's so slow - accepting and thanking for gifts takes forever and if you dare to press more than once on wall requests it freezes and then sometimes crashes

I wouldnt update if i were you but if you do - get as many diamonds as you can before you cross over to the dark side :-)

Friend code box is still not back...possibly never to be seen again

I reckon after multi gifting was stopped everyone has been hammering the codes

Yes, something different. They show up in the last tab of the 'inventory' box, you know the one where the things like diving boots and duct tape go. They don't appear to be used for anything, other than completing this quest, at the moment...!

After the starting gun quest you need 30 copper horseshoes and the ones you have won't count so wait for the quest then charge the visions of the future quest (#28)

Typically I charged mine about 10 minutes before the quest came up!
