Olympic quests

No one has posted a guide so I figure I'd start one...please post if your farther than me so I can add to it

1. find spear.....search hunting room or banish Olympic snatchins
2. find shot.....Search Japanese garden or banish Olympic snatchins
3. find pole.....search dressing room or banish Olympic snatchins
4. find Hammer.....search African room or banish Olympic snatchins
5. find discus.....search alien saucer or banish Olympic snatchins
6. collect 20 starter guns.....ask friends or banish Olympic snatchins
7. collect 30 copper horseshoes.....charge collections
8. Collect 30 bullets.....ask friends
9. Collect 10 of each phenom banishers, not UFO.....charge collections
10. Find 3 balls of wire.....search the Sakura room
11. Find 50 bronze medals.....banish Olympic snatchins
Find 50 silver medals.....search any Non-paid manor rooms
Find 50 gold medals.....search paid rooms (Sakura,fortune teller,etc)


EVENTS
1. Banish each Olympic snatchin 100 times
2. Charge each Olympic collection 5 times

Once all quests/events finish, snatchins stay in manor and objects drop at same rate.

ARTIFACT
90% increased to room drop rate.
60% increased coins.
60% increased energy restore.

To find the hammer, they ask that we search the African room. Do you know what the gifting level requirements are for the Olympics charging items?

I can fill in a couple of things
1. Spear in hunting room
2. Shot in Japanese garden

If you don't have spaceship open, you can try hitting up diving snatchin. It shows shot as a possible drop.

I'm stuck on the wire - I've searched Sakura 5 times, with helper and at least a couple of times with 10% chance to find tips and turtle and found NO ball of wire. Discouraging!

I found 2 so far and I have plenty of seeds now...just no energy

Yeah, you can find all the collection items by banishing snatchins rather than searching rooms. You save on energy that way too

The ball of wire is a fairly rare drop in the Sakura room. I've searched about 30 times and still only have two. I'm out of seeds now.

I was having zero luck finding that ball of wire, until my turtle ended. Then I found all 3 in about 5-6 total searches, as opposed to none in 8-10 or more searches with a turtle. I had seen someone else reference this (can't find it now of course!), so thought I would try it. Bingo! I may try with and without a turtle more often to see how it goes.

Oh for crying out loud. Yes, someone else mentioned in another thread that they were only getting TRex fillets to drop when they DIDN'T use a turtle. Honestly, this game drives me batty sometimes!

Can anyone tell me if once you finish the Event (banishing 100ea Snatchin) if Bubbles and rope continue to drop as often and Snatchins stay?

I haven't finished the quest and received the chest yet because I'm assuming that as soon as you do, the Swimmer and Weight Lifter will disappear from your manor. That's what has happened in all the previous quests, like the 4th of July event. I think the items will continue to drop, but you'll have a hard time finding snatchins to trade with. If someone else has done it already, maybe they can provide confirmation.

Does anyone know what the Olympic artifact does?

You get another right side quest that tells you to charge the collections 5 times. The reward for this is a detective's chest and a few not so excitining items.

Bubbles and jump ropes are continuing to drop. However, I am still chasing down gold and silver metals.

I have not yet claimed the detective chest because I'm concerned that might be the trigger to make the bubbles/jump rope to disappear.

Ah OK. The difference is there is another quest after that still requires them. I think we're going to need some brave players to try charging things and let us know what happens!

Can we keep the 5 x charged Collections or are they taken away when finishing the event?

I've completed all Olympics, charged the artefacts and still have snatchin. Also yes the charge dcollections get taken but you will still have snatchin. I'm still collecting and with turtle running get drop on bubbles and rope (either or) each room.

Is there anything after the "charge the collections 5 times" quest, or is the event over after that?

Oh gosh I don't recall I'm sorry on the news pitches at the side I remember there are two chests you get, the second is for charging I think as the firs is for hundred of each snatchin, that's both the rewards, there's quests in game as listed by brad but from memory two chest rewards and second requires collections charged and the items are kept.
Yes just those two things then after finding medals, event over, I thought it was going on longer, disappointed it just went dead after medals, didn't conclude much lol

I went hard out today charging collections so I could fill the achievement and get a Detectives Chest for the sole purpose of getting seeds which I find so hard to come by. Anyhoo, got my seeds, explored (with turtle) the Sakura room at least 30 times and got ONE miserable flipping coil of rope!!! How the heck am I going to get 50 more seeds to explore the room even once?? I can't believe how crappy the drop rate was, gutted!

I finished collecting all the medals, the screen saying I completed the quest came and went by so fast, can anyone tell me what I got for finishing this quest? Thanks

Nothing Hun, that's the end lol, I posted elsewhere I thought it abruptly stopped! Just banish the snatchin til the time runs out, you lady, are done on it lol xxx

When I was trying to find those coils, I explored about 10 times with a turtle and found none. Then my turtle expired and I kept exploring anyway. Found all 3 in 5-6 searches!! Crazy that hey would drop better without a turtle, but it was true for me. Just a thought.

I searched with a turtle running, and got 1 to drop the very first time I searched, then the other 2 over the next 7-8 times I searched. Maybe some people are just unlucky
