Finding keys

Hi.
I'm pretty new at the game (level 22) and totally addicted. Does anyone have tips on how/where to locate the keys to unlock rooms? (eg I can unlcok the Hallway at level 22, but don't have the key...)

You have to buy the keys to unlock the rooms.

Does anyone know at what level room keys for hallway and library are no longer required? Thought it might be novice but now needed for trainee too. Keys no longer drop for me, probably cos I've advanced too quickly And finished some quest to stop them. But gi won't listen to that.
Ps I used be level 193 but restarted and now 29.
Obviously I can't spend 20 diamond to explore the hallway.
And 2weeks ago I thought it hilarious that the trader was exchanging for shields.

lol, i know what u mean... do u have detective chest? or maybe work on other quest... keep your 20 diamonds
