How long do you wait before you figure someone is not going to make a trade requested? Only about 50% of the people I ask even respond to my query. Curious to see what others do.

My strategy is this:
Locate 4-5 collection items I need (be it just to complete a collection, or complete a quest). Then, with these items in mind, I visit about 20-30 friends and try to decide if anyone of them would trade these items with me.
When I do this, I usually ask 2 friends per item, because my response rate is about 50%. Usually, I get 3-4 of the 5 items I seek in a day or two.
I repeat the process a few days later with different items, and different friends.
