no Facebook event

Anyone else missing the weekend Facebook event (visit FB and get 5 diamonds)?

Last week, I wrote to GI Support complaining that I did not get event.
On Jan 23rd, Andrew Su writes back...

"We made fixes on the game server so your event problem should be solved.
You will surely receive your Facebook event on the next weekend.
If you have any other questions about our game please let me know."

Well, next weekend is here, FB mentions event, and I have no event

I had a message on the information tab concerning the event, but no event, no diamonds
I raised a ticket ...

I didn't get any last week or this so I unliked then liked Facebook page and the event box showed up and I got a chest.

I haven't had the event icon for 5 weeks. And no diamonds. They pretty much told me that is a benefit, and if we don't get it, too bad. I tod them that was not acceptable, but doubt they'll help me. IM SO MAD AT THEM! They're customer support is beyond awful!!
They have yet to make good on Leprechaun diamonds I purchased as well. Lets all email their CEO. There are addresses on their website of all the big wigs

Of note, after the 1.16 Anniversary update Jan. 28, the Facebook event appeared that Friday, as announced. Hopefully, with the 1.161 Valentine's Day update Feb. 6, there will still be a Facebook event on Fridays

I've found that if the Facebook event doesn't appear then if I close the game completely and then restart it appears. The same goes for problems with counters not resetting, just exit completely and restart and your counters should reset. My gift counter hadn't reset for over 48 hours until I tried this and now I do it every day. Every time I restart a new helper appears needing rescuing too, although they do replace on old one so you don't end up with extras! This doesn't happen more than once in 24 hours though!

That is some super useful information. Thank you! And I did get my FB event back last weekend. Hoping I get it again tomorrow.
