Trying to summon phenomenon

Hi all

Been reading through threads on this site for weeks now and it's been very, very helpful. I have a few quests which require certain phenomenon in certain rooms. I've blocked all but 3 rooms but still no phenomenon have appeared - it's been nearly a week! What am I doing wrong?

Start searching in the living room. Follow that by searching the kitchen then bedroom. I have found that if you search the fortune teller's room every 3 to 4 searches, you will get a phenom. I have been trying to get mist in kitchen and have curses in all rooms except living room and kitchen. I search LR, kitchen, FT room in that order and have phenom show up every 3-4 cycles. Unfortunately, mist hasn't gone to kitchen yet, but at least I'm getting them! Good luck.
