Today I noticed a new icon among all of the event icons on the right hand side. It had a 24 hour timer and was from the snatchin merchant to purchase one chest with food, one chest with 200 diamonds and one chest with tools for the grand total of 0.99. I am not sure whether this is avilable to everyone but as I almost didnt see it with all of the other event icons at the moment, I thought I would post about it.

The timer may not have started until i clicked onthe icon and I do not know whether this is generally available to all players so "your mileage may vary".

Murraymint, it's 69p in the UK:) my timer showed 22hrs...or did til I just bought it!

I just went to have a look and mines at 15 hrs so it is counting down now. There must be some really expensive quests ccming up, or they want 5 star ratings from everyone. Am I being cynical here

Do you get all three for .99 cents or only one? And if its only one, can you buy the others afterwards? Does the icon go away after you make the purchase or can you purchase it again?

All three and it is a one time deal and then the icon disappears

SO happy this was shared, or many would miss it. It's almost too good to be true, thought I was dreaming. All that stuff for 99 cents. (USA). Even 2 hearty dinners and energy restoration.

YOU, cynical, never. I am suspicious myself, getting 200 diamonds, plus more for 99 cents.
Maybe GI was noticing that we don't purchase at their inflated prices. I don't know of one friend who buys, unless it's a leprechaun sale. Me included. Get a clue GI. We do have brains after all.

You should have, we all got. Look close, the little snatchin is hard to see amongst all those other icons. Way too many in my opinion, but who wants my opinion??

Some thoughts
Are you running the latest update?
Have you tried shutting down your ipad and restarting it?
Have you checked each of the event icons on the right side to make sure you didnt miss it
If none of those work you may need to ask GI

I somehow noticed the new icon among the clutter of events, news, rooms, roamers, etc., before I read this thread. I thought that 99 cents for each kind of chest was a pretty good deal, so I started the buying process. I really couldn't believe it when the confirmation said a "chest PACK"! I had to come here to make sure I really bought what I bought. Unfortunately, except for the 200 diamonds (!!), I don't know exactly what I got. Does anyone know? It's not important; I'm just curious. I think GI's got a money-maker if they offer this again.

The first chest gave different food items, including two dinners and a full energy charge up on purchase. The third chest had various tools for exploring rooms.

Tiffany I didn't get it either. I had tried all of the things suggested but nothing. Not impressed with GI.
