For those who dont mind paying something to play, there is a new in game offer which you can find among the event icons on the right side. Basically for $5, which may vary depending on which itunes store you are in, you get the chest of willie which costs 75 diamonds in the store, 5 copies of each collection item in the mass destruction collection for battling the new boss, costs 200 diamonds to buy, and a chest with 70 diamonds.

Yes, it is a great deal! I didn't see your post, but just happened to see the unusual icon on the right, and checked it out. 70 diamonds plus that chest, and some energies all for $4.99. Hope others get it in time. Less than 24 hours left to go...
Too bad they don't bother with an info message when there is something like this, they bother us with messages of far less importance all the time, lol

Re: Oct 30 new in game offer
Just thought I'll share this
I made a decision not to buy the chest, for one main reason, GI is short changing US
When I started playing, events and manor rooms are regular addition through updates, they create lots of excitement and the charms can be useful. I remembered Swimming Season (Beach Boys and bathing girls) and Olympic most.
Now the focus is on Yard rooms which requires searching rooms for weapons, which is used to banish floaters for keys to unlock Boss. Then we need to gather enough weapons to fight Boss and the room is opened for only 2 hours. And each room exploration requires Keys, which at expert mode, it is a daunting 50 room keys!
Need I mention the dismal drop rate?
No doubt this Chest can help me with the latest (impossible to play room without paying money), but buying it will send a wrong signal that GI can continue to do as they like ( that is to say, whatever is most profitable to them)

I had no interest in buying the chest either. Has anyone seen the Snatchin Merchant lately? Seems like he's no longer with us.

Re: Oct 30 new in game offer
The chest did include keys to get into Willie Pumpkin room. However, my very first "fight", was unfinished, and therefore I lost all the weapons I used and so did the other player. So I never even got to see room.
I believe I agree with what Pauline says, the focus is on yard rooms, and they do cost money. It's no secret that GI wants our money. I guess if we stop buying, maybe they would give more.... Hmmm. Fat chance.

I agree Pauline. The drop rate for the keys is abysmal, most of my rooms are still locked. The two hour window to explore is ridiculous too, these days I don't have a spare two hour block to devote to MM.paulinelhg wrote:Just thought I'll share this

Re: Oct 30 new in game offer
GI's time limits would be fine, if the clock ran only while game is open. So if you close the game, clock stops...for turtles, 2 hour boss rooms and such. We don't even begin to realize the value of our charms, especially if you play a few minutes here and there like I do.
But if they did that, we would almost have to say that they are nice, no that's too far of a stretch, GI, nice??? What was I thinking.
