Changing from one Game Centre ID to another - possible????

Hi there, i've been playing MM for a long time now - I started the game on what was at the time my husband's ipad, so my MM is under his Game Centre ID - however now he has gifted this ipad to me to use and he has a new one. Does anyone know if I can somehow get my MM game transferred from his Game Centre ID to my own one? I'm basically a guest on my own ipad and can't really do much unless I log in and out of Game Centre the whole time which is a pain in the butt! Any thoughts or ideas appreciated before I resort to contacting G.I (shudder) for the usual nonsensical reply.....
