Those are sent when you send a thank you. You cannot choose.

I suggest you go to the main MMUFF page and read through the Guides. They will answer many of your initial basic questions.
The items you mention above can not be gifted, but you can purchase them with diamonds in the store Or as Cheezer said you can receive them in one of the mystery gifts you receive. You receive a mystery gift for every gift you send to friends, provided they retrieve the gift and send a thank you.
I hope you enjoy the game! Starting now with the new version, it will be interesting to hear your feelings about the game. Please post your thoughts in the Chit-Chat section of the site. You'll also finds tons of information under the "Where do I find." section.
