Oil cans drop easier

After the update it has been easier to find oil cans. Maybe the next quest will involve oil cans? Does anyone know ?

I've noticed that, too, and hope it stays that way.

However, I banished a vacuum robot yesterday and it didn't change my total in the quest. I was at 4/10 before banishing and am still at 4/10. Grr. It's possible I screwed up and banished a different robot, but I was pretty sure I clicked on vacuum. There went 5 oil cans wasted...

If you can remember what your oil can total was before, you can see if it took 5 vs 10 or 15. I had this problem repeatedly, when I had the quest to banish 10 of each. I wrote to support and after the UDID nonsense and such, they returned my oil cans. In fact, after about the 4th time this happened, through 2 or 3 updates, they finally fixed the issue AND gave me extra oil cans to finish quest! As hard as those oil cans are to find, it is worth opening a ticket - and they need to know it is not an isolated problem.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't look at my oil can total before banishing, so I don't know how many were taken. I'll definitely look next time, though, and if it happens again, will contact support. Glad to know I'm not the only one it happened to.

I noticed that oilcans come more often too....but if I was being cynical, I would say that there will be a new quest involving oilcans but none you have in stock will count...

My drop rate seems to have increased too. I've had close to 15 in the last two days. I've been using them to banish the TV robots in and effort to finish the robot Achievement. Still have a long way to go though .

I thought I was going mad, I was SURE my banishing of robots wasn't registering. Same thing happened a few times with dark adept.

But quite frankly, my blood pressure can't deal with going to GI.

I've noticed more frequent drops of oil cans too. Yesterday, I even had 2 cans dropping. Hurray

I notice them in the inventory of items you can find now, especially the non paying rooms which surprised me. Twice yesterday it showed I could find in bedroom and bathroom. Found eight cans in an hour, almost passed right out lol

Well then they must only drop if you don't have a quest for them. I need to find the blueprint on a robot. Have had 1 oil can in the last week.

April, use turtle of luck when searching a room. It works for me:)

Sadly I used a turtle and still had no drops. Will try again when I have the resources and time to take advantage of the turtle. ..sigh..., wish the clover worked better. Thank you for the suggestion though. I appreciate it.
