Easter Event

Get lollipops by searching rooms. They can also be bought for 2 diamonds each.
Trade them with Easter Bunny on your map.

Collect eggs from the Easter Bunny to charge the Easter collection. If a friend asks you to open an egg with them, you will lose that egg from your collection and inventory screen.

You can also open Eggs with friends to get Faberge Charm parts. Collect enough parts to create the Faberge Egg Charm. The Golden Screw and Golden Nut are requestable, so ask your friends for them.

The Faberge Egg Charm gives you +25% experience and +25% gold for 7 days.

There appears to be a bug with the Easter Event...

When cracking the Eggs open, you receive the Faberge Egg parts, but clicking on the NEWS window for the Event does not show the parts attained.

Clicking on the Assemble window shows an empty window with "Share with Friends" and nothing else.

Update: now the numbers are showing up properly. You need 12 of each part to assemble the Faberge Egg.

Some people have "Easter cakes" on their list of gifts that they can send to friends. 1 Easter cake = 5 energy. So they can actually gift energy!

I can't find where you can send request for the Golden Screw and Golden - doesn't allow on the news item or on the inventory. Where else should I look?

Go to Easter News icon. Click Assemble on the bottom of that window. You can then Ask a Friend for the Nuts and Screws.

As I've discovered, you shouldn't ask your friends to help you open the eggs. Instead wait and charge the collection. Then you get the Easter cakes along with the hardware!

I also think it's better to not have friends help with opening the eggs.

It only takes 36 diamonds to charge the Faberge Egg (nuts and screws are easily attainable). It's more sensible to keep the eggs and use them to charge the chocolate egg (at least to me).

How are people requesting the eggs? Or is that requesting to crack?

You request the eggs by using it in your Inventory -> Chests section.

Known issue that affects some players. I've been told that it magically appeared again for some.

Worth trying a reboot to see if it helps...

The reboot didn't fix it, that always the first thing I do when I encounter a problem. Hope it reappears quickly, no clue on where I am on collecting the parts.

You can check your inventory. The hardware gears will be listed.
You need 12 each to assemble the Faberge Egg.

I just discovered you can gift the eggs to friends? Someone requested one that I didn't even have yet so for the heck of it I tapped Gift and it went!

I may have to go that route, I'm getting nowhere getting lollipops to exchange with the Easter Bunny.

They aren't requesting them as gifts. They are requesting that you help them open the egg.

If you have that egg color, you lose it too.
If you do not have that egg color, it will still open.

It is better to charge the eggs than ask friends to help open them.

Why would they want help with opening an egg? What does that do? What it did for me was give me coins.

There are three ways to 'use' the eggs.

1. Charge them into Chocolate Egg
2. Request a friend to open them (both sender and receive loses one Egg)
3. Pay one diamond to open the Egg

Most people don't want to spend 1 diamond to open the Egg, so they ask their friends for help to open them, not realizing that the friend also loses an Egg.

Mine is missing too. Is it still possible to complete the egg without the news icon? I found the eggs in my inventory and on my collections page but I don't see anywhere where the parts are listed.

You can view your golden hardware pieces in the last tab on the right of your inventory window.

So basically without that icon, which I don't have, it isn't worth obtaining the pieces. Sometimes this game drives me crazy! I love it but it would be nice if it worked correctly.

Do you mean you get ALL the hardware to get the charm?

So strategy is to get at least two of every egg, charge once to get chocolate egg -- which gives cakes and charm charging/building items-- then use the second set to create charm?

How do you respectfully decline to open an egg for a friend because you don't want to lose one of your eggs?

Sadly, people still send me eggs to open. I put a message on my wall asking people not to send me eggs.

I'm still opening them if they request. Only got about 5 requests today as opposed to the 30+ from yesterday.

No, not all the hardware. Just the 5 pieces from the 5 eggs. Same as if you had asked a friend.
