ROOM 18 - LOST ISLAND QUESTS - continued

@ Sir MarcR - I cannot believe you made me do this on my birthday! You're lucky I love you! Info is not free, I expect you to cross over before the week ends or I will slow choke you and revoke your knighthood, my lord!  

Following are the subsequent quests continued from my earlier post on Room 18 quests.  Instructions stand that previously collected items still won't count.  Most quests require a phenomenon so keep retaining any phenomena or your manor should maintain its set-up, as required, to attract one.

Save for Mercury, all quests can be found by exploring once up to a maximum of 5 times using a turtle.  For applicable items, you may explore or trade.

1. Clipper - mist in any room; I suggest you don't clear this quest first. Clear the Ferry first.
2. Ferry - native idol in any room
3. Clipper - mist in any room; one Clipper clears both quests #1 & 3.
4. Caravel - sorry I missed the phenomenon because I cleared this accidentally when I got both the 3rd Clipper & Caravel at the same time.
5. Clipper - silhouette in any room
6. Polar Bear - trade with a gypsy; took 1 trade with regular gypsy guy.
7. Paddle Boat - laboratory in night mode
8. Hatch - explore UFO
9. Screen - laboratory in silhouette mode
10. Ocean Liner  - explore Oceanic
11. Arctic Icebreaker - charge once
12. Explore Lost Island, Oceanic & Brig 3 times - after the first, previous explorations count. So it's basically explore once.
13. Neptune - yes, you read right! NEPTUNE! Evil laugh - thunder & lightning - it's your old nemesis! You meet again! Explore Fortune Telling room at night.  Have no fear, I think he's old & weak now, dropped real fast! 
14. Mist - explore room 51 in night mode.
15. Bits of the Plane - explore Oceanic in night mode.
16.  Secretive Island - charge once
17. Pearls - explore African room or dressing room at night. Do African room.
18. Mercury - Explore Hunting room or Hallway with Native Idol Phenomenon. I haven't cleared this quest, birthday celebration got in the way! 

NOTE: I suggest for quests 1-6,7 & 10 to instead explore the Oceanic if you have room keys because boats sometimes drop 2 at a time; or trade with a friend.  More importantly, it saves the phenomena you have already set up for the next quests, unless you already have native idol in Hallway and Hunting rooms.  But then again, I don't know what the next quests shall be yet unless someone else knows.

Quests are nice, not too easy, not too hard! I usually have week-long celebrations when it's my birthday so I don't know when I can finish next quests, I'll see if I can sneak it in.  My apologies if I can't

It's not the same order my quests are coming in so far, though. I got quests for clipper, polar bear, then hatch. So 1, 6 & 8 on your list. I have not seen the other quests in between yet.

Only quests I have right now are hatch, charge legacy of Atlanteans, and $&@!&€! 10x robot quest.

Am I supposed to be finding hatch in the spaceship room, outside the manor? Or in a room with UFO phenomena? Thanks

It's really quite alright! I was touched by the gesture! It was a misunderstanding and it's sad but hard to explain on a wall since they can't hear tone of voice, you know what I mean? So if she's mad and I'm sending messages, she's reading it mad too while I was giggling at her rant. Anyway, that's how the cookie crumbles, like I said maybe she's having a bad day!

Oh maybe because you have not charged the atlanteans set? Didn't you need it to explore the island? And yes, if you still have robots, that's a UFO quest so you won't get the boats as they are Oceanic room quests. So you're not done with room 16 so later will have to be 17 then 18. Hatch is found by exploring UFO room 16. Did you see it as a searchable item at the bottom?

Oh and thanks for the greeting. Don't clear your next Clipper quest until you get the 3rd.

I have a friend who is not up to the new quests that lead to the Island. He has received Maps from friends and wonders if he should banish Snatchin Seafarer when he finds him to get Collection items and send them to friends who need them. Or just hold on to them.

Thank you again for all of the great Island information, it is so very helpful.

Maps from friends?
There are 3 maps -
1. Treasure Map - collection item from Brig sets
2. Map of Island - charge item for Lost Island sets
3. Marine Map - weapon to banish Seafarer
He might be confusing the treasure map or map of island for the marine map. I know, it's not his fault! Please confirm with him. Treasure map from collection item and Map of island can be sent by friends. Weapon map can only be found by searching rooms or buying it from the weapons shop.

To banish or not depends where he's at now? If he's still doing Ikebana quest, by the time he needs the collection items for the new sets, others would have extra already. His considerations should be:
1. Where he's at. How long to go to need the items? Note though that to accomplish the news event on the right side has no deadline, but I'm guessing we lose it on the next update, like we always do news events.
2. Does he have the seafarer in his manor? If he does maybe he does have the quest for it but if he's banishing when he visits, he shouldn't. Because all previously collected items won't count for when he gets his quest on the left side. That's why I mentioned to save the maps - but here refer to the map as a weapon. Not the treasure map, collection item for Brig sets.
3. Where's he going? Whats his goal? You mentioned he's not up to the new quests. Did you mean he's not up to doing them or he's not there yet? Does he want to achieve the news event which requires 9 each of the new sets?

NOTE: on the left will appear a quest for just one set each for 2 of the new ones and 5 of the 3rd one. On the right, the news require 9 sets of each. Anything of the new items he has count to the news on the right but not for the quest on the left. I'm sorry is this clear? Or did I confuse you more? I'm sorry, I'm rushing coz I'm leaving the country tonight! Just send me a post if it's not clear, I'll reply soon as I can.

When I turned 40 last year, a had a car accident the following day - total wreck, car completely smashed! People on the road were stopping coz they thought no one could survive the crash if you see the car. I came out unscathed save for a seatbelt burn and a bump on the hip, coz I guess I was too small to fill the seat. So I said, when they said Life begins at 40, I didn't realize it restarts!?!? I'm turning 1 year old tomorrow! LOL! And after that, every problem seems small and it's easy to smile at everything!

I, of course, don't wish the same or anything close to that for you, but I hope you enjoy your milestones!
